Ford is Now Delivering a More Interactive Dealership Experience

The future of the car dealership is interactive and connected; that’s the direction Ford Philippines is going when it unveiled its newest brand retail identity: Ford Signature and Interior Refresh. The first Philippine dealership compliant with this new retail identity is the newly opened Ford Clark.

Picking up the exterior elements from Brand@Retail II (brand wall, entrance tower, and Ford signage), Ford’s brand-new retail identity focuses on providing a more engaging and inclusive environment that puts the customer in control of their sales and service transactions. It also aims to facilitate a faster and more customer-focused sales and after-sales delivery.

The Ford Signature and Interior Refresh features an interactive welcome pod that exemplifies “people serving people” with a welcoming hospitality gesture; a vehicle display space that allows for optimal vehicle presentation; purchase rooms designed to give customers a feeling of being in control and laid out to enable a smooth interaction with the sales staff; a community and social area that provides an engaging multi-functional space for social and community events; a customer lounge that allows customers to connect online, charge their gadgets, or work remotely; and an enhanced celebration bay and service reception area.

Connecting the customer’s online purchasing journey with the on-ground, in-store environment, Ford will equip its sales personnel with a proprietary app and tablets to help the customer with his purchasing decision.

The first dealership to benefit from Ford Signature and Interior Refresh is the Ford Clark—Ford’s 47th dealership facility in the country. With a total floor area of 1,863 square-meters, it has a 4-car display, 1 interactive bay, and 7 service bays with an additional 16 service bays provisioned for future expansion.

“This is another major milestone for us in Ford as we continue to grow our dealership network to reach more customers in Clark, which is one of the country’s major economic hubs, giving them access to our world-class vehicles and improvements in the overall ownership experience,” says Bert Lessard, managing director, Ford Philippines.

“Today’s automotive customers are increasingly sophisticated, business-minded, and technologically-savvy. Therefore, it is vital that a dealership facility, which is one of our most important customer touchpoints, adapts to this changing consumer behavior in terms of look, feel, and the experience it offers to customers,” adds Lessard.

Ford aims to migrate all existing dealerships to the Ford Signature and Interior Refresh by 2021.

Ford Clark is located at LGC Automotive Services Building, M.A. Roxas Highway, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. It is operated by the LPL Group headed by its chairman and president Levy P. Laus.

  1. There's no problem in buying a Ford. They are priced competitively. However PMS and fixing a vehicle is both expensive and a hassle.
