Drive Home the 2020 Mitsubishi Xpander Cross with Just a P99k Downpayment

One of the redeeming traits of Filipinos is the closeness to their families. It’s part of our culture, and it’s also part of the major decisions we have to make in life – that includes car buying.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) puts the Xpander Cross at the forefront of providing mobility to the Filipino family. Taking from the esteemed versatility and dependability of its predecessor, the Mitsubishi Adventure, the Xpander Cross takes that to another level, making it the best MPV for Filipino families.

Family members come in various shapes and sizes, that’s why space is important in a family car. The Mitsubishi Xpander Cross comes standard with seven, leather-upholstered seats with various adjustments to ensure coziness for all occupants.

The second row slides into place to give enough knee room for the third-row occupants. Even better, the second-row seats fold and stumble to allow easy ingress and egress at the back.

The Mitsubishi Xpander Cross has several cubbyholes and storage spaces all over the cabin. Rear seat pockets are found behind the first row, while the center console compartment features a sliding cover and a 12V accessory charger. The second row has show compartments under the seat, as well, while power outlets populate all three rows of the SUV.

The cargo area offers ample default space for seven people while also offering extended stowage with its underfloor luggage compartment. For maximum hauling needs, all seats fold flat to the floor, presenting over 1,600 liters of usable cargo space.

Like the other members of the Xpander family, the Xpander Cross is powered by a 1.5-liter DOHC MIVEC 4-cylinder engine producing 103 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque. The 4-speed automatic also has standard cruise control which makes long drives effortless.

With MacPherson struts at the front and a durable torsion beam at the back, the Xpander Cross ensures pliant drive regardless of road impurities. It also has 225mm of space from the ground, making ferrying safe even on paths that haven’t been created yet.

For families looking for an upgrade, the 2020 Xpander Cross can now be had with a P 99,000 downpayment (P 25,393 monthly amortization for a 60-month term). Even better, it’s part of Mitsubishi’s Head Start promo that offers free amortization for two months, giving you over P50,000 of savings. The Xpander Cross has a suggested retail price of P1,255,000.

The Head Start promo is also available for other Xpander variants as well. For the GLX Plus A/T (SRP P1,088,000), just pay an all-in low downpayment of P68,000 for a monthly amortization of P22,014 for five years. For the GLS A/T (SRP P1,128,000), all-in low downpayment is at P38,000 with a monthly payment of P22,824. Both deals let you save around P45,000 with Mitsubishi taking care of the first two months.

Financing plans are subject to approval by participating banks. The all-in package includes 3-year LTO registration, 1-year comprehensive insurance, and chattel mortgage. Promo runs until September 30, 2020 only.

  1. This Mitsubishi Xpander cross is one of the overpriced car in the Philippines even with the car specifications. At this price range we could buy a Ford Territory or Geely Coolray, Suzuki XL7 and Toyota Corolla Cross
