Get Custom Bike Style With Japanese Reliability Thanks To Mutt Motorcycles

The motorcycle industry in the Philippines just got a bit more interesting with the market introduction of a new brand: Mutt Motorcycles. Born in Birmingham in the U.K., Mutt Motorcycles fuses retro-British custom bike style with state-of-the-art Japanese powertrains.

“We’re very excited to bring Mutt Motorcycles to ardent motorcycle enthusiasts in the local market. With confidence, we believe that it will bring a unique and fun new dimension to two-wheeled mobility. Mutt Motorcycles is nothing less than a cutting-edge brand,” declared Erroll Dueñas, President of United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), the official exclusive distributor of Mutt Motorcycles in the Philippines.

Mutt Motorcycles was founded in the U.K. by Benny Thomas, one of the most respected personalities in the British custom bike scene. Thomas specialized in designing, sourcing, and fettling expensive motorcycles for Harley Davidson and even Porsche. In 2013, he and his business partner, Will Rigg, spotted a gap in the motorcycle market for small-engine but equally stylish, vintage feel custom bikes.

And now, after making their mark with over a hundred showrooms worldwide, that novel and inspired a new genre of Birmingham-bred motorbikes will be turning heads on Philippine roads.

Mutt Motorcycles offers vintage, custom-bike looks at an affordable price. They have paid close attention to detail, and that is seen in the TIG-welded frame, CNC-machined fork caps, and even aluminum stalks to support the LED turn signal lights. For riding comfort and convenience, it comes with Alcantara seat upholstery and ABS.

Powering the Mutt Motorcycles is a single cylinder air cooled 250-cc Suzuki-sourced engine. With a Delphi fuel injection system, it makes 21 horsepower and 18 Nm of torque connected to a 5-speed manual. All in all, is allows for excellent real world maneuverability, power, and of course, bulletproof reliability.

For the Philippine market, Mutt Motorcycles is bringing in seven different models in the following colors: Matte Gray, Matte Green, Silver, Glossy Gray, and Raw Steel. Prices for Mutt Motorcycles start at P 185,000.

The first Mutt Motorcycle showroom is now open in Clark, Pampanga with plans to open in more locations nationwide soon.
