2024 Lotus Emira Arriving In The Philippines Q3 2023

Lotus Cars Manila has confirmed that the most powerful four-cylinder Lotus sportscar ever, the Emira is arriving by the third quarter of this year.

Order books are now open for Lotus’ final combustion engine two-seater which uses a Mercedes-AMG supplied powerplant. For the Emira, the turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder produces 365 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 430 Nm from 3,000 to 5,500 rpm. With a quick shifting 8-speed dual clutch, it reaches 100 km/h from zero in just 4.4 seconds. Its top speed is pegged at 290 km/h.

The powerful, yet lightweight engine is a perfect match to the Emira’s bonded aluminum Lotus Sports Car Architecture platform. It has race-derived, forged aluminum double wishbones all around delivering the greatest control of the tire’s contact patch throughout the suspension’s entire range of travel. A cast aluminum subframe, exclusive to the Emira 4-cylinder, helps shed a further 12 kilograms of weight.

The Emira can be ordered in one of 13 colors: Hethel Yellow, Magma Red, Vivid Red, Dark Verdant, Seneca Blue, Atlantis Blue, Meridian Blue, Osmium Silver, Nimbus Grey, Shadow Grey, Zinc Grey, Mist White, and Cosmos Black.

Standard features include a 12.3-inch TFT instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10-channel premium audio system developed by KEF, a 12-way power adjustable driver’s seat covered in nappa leather, and more.

  1. the Toyota V6 engine with the manual should be the one to buy. I will definitely check this out at the dealer as this could be one of the last great ICE light sports car with a third pedal. Hoping this wont be too expensive.
