Even with hefty duscounts byd seal performance sales will be crushed by made in japan toyota bz4x.
ReplyDeleteSeal 5 is a Sedan
DeleteLow quality effort Toyota BZ4X should beat the best selling Tesla Model 3 and Model Y first.
Absolutely!
DeleteI don't think so. bz4x too expensive.
DeleteYeah its a price war, Comrades ganging up on byd by offering same category vehicles with better specs at lower prices. AC byd dreams of putting up 77 dealerships at end 2025 not feasible anymore. As of now if am not mistaken AC byd has 38 dealerships across ph.
ReplyDeleteOh no! They can't make 77 by end of 2025?
DeleteI guess this is the end for them then. Because there's absolutely never any hope after you miss a 1 year target. Never in the history of the world has anyone ever met their goals after they missed their first target.
By the end of the year, all the construction crews currently working on new sites will have to step away from their equipment like when your teacher tells you, "pens up!" after you reach your time limit during a test. So sad for them. 😢
BYD Otis Manila opened this year.
DeleteThe number of BYD car dealerships in operation now are around 50 or so.
BYD Philippines wants to focus more on sales improvement and product lineup expansion over number of dealerships.
BYD EVs like the Dolphin,Han,Atto 3,Seal 5 and Tang are hard to sell now that's why they're giving away very huge cash discounts for those EVs.
ReplyDeleteAtto 2 is the perfect replacement to the outdated Dolphin EV
BYD is discounting their cars as a testament of them not selling well…
ReplyDeleteNot really.
DeleteThose are just normal cash discounts that BYD dealerships offer.
Toyota and Mitsubishi also do give away six digit Peso cash discounts on thier vehicles in order to boost thier sales.
38 dealerships sa website byd ph. if marami dealerships and kunti lang units sold kakapiranggot lang magiging after sales income ng mga dealerships. Lakihan pa ng byd ang dustcounts para marami benta.
ReplyDeleteDustcounts 😂😂😂
DeleteBYD Philippines isn't doing at a loss fire sale 😂
E fire sales na to give way to byd's latest products.
DeleteFeeling ko iisa lng itong tao na to na puro fail na corny jokes sa lahat ng articles. Ikaw po yan sir yung mahilig mag B__ Y__ D__ jokes? Hahaha
DeleteBYD Bohol will open next year. 2 more showrooms in Cebu will open next year bringing the total to 6. BYD is quite a success story in Cebu. Close to 4,000 units sold since its first branch is opened late May 2024. Existing dealer has given up dealership on Hyundai, Mercedes, RAM and Chrysler to focus on BYD.
ReplyDeleteMore room to go down. It was Ayala pricing. Now, they're confronted by other brands with lower prices, they have no choice but to compete or they'll end up abandoning a brand again.
ReplyDeleteYou notice na walang Sealion 6 sa lista? Diba ang daming SL6 competitors (daw) na lumabas this year? Parang hindi sila feeling challenged dun if no discounts. Competition is good, but let's not be delusional. lol
DeleteBYD cars are fake disposable cars that's why they're cheap.
ReplyDeleteSure buddy. That's why the US effectively blocked BYD and other Chinese cars from their market with tariffs (let them in if they suck so much). Also, that explains why BYD is getting popular in places like Australia right now. Because we know those Australians love disposable cars to drive in their environment.
DeleteJust someting I noticed with those driving BYDs, they are slow and doesn't seem know what they are doing on the road. Anyone else noticed that? Especially the crossover ones. I always try to overtake them because they are road hazards.
ReplyDeleteNo? Are you maybe encountering the same person on your daily trip? Or are you assuming most (if not all) of the owners are new drivers? Generalizing based on limited observations is a bad thing.
DeleteJust last night, another BYD crossover blocked an intersection causing a traffic jam. What the hell is wrong with BYD drivers?
DeleteProbably its the engine that suddenly stop working.
DeleteMaybe because of byd ADAS that too sensetive especially those in SL6. Definitely its not the driver but the car itself causing the problem. Some BYD SL6 owners permanently off its ADAS that causing more hazards than being helpful
ReplyDeleteADAS from most manufacturers use road markings and signage which we know are inconsistent here. I remember watching a review on youtube where the host complained that the car (I forgot what brand) is interpreting the max tonnage sign before bridges as the speed limit (medyo same font tlga sila). So the car thinks the 18t means you should go 18kmph. I understood his frustration with that one and why a person would want to turn off their ADAS because of it.
