After launching its smallest plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, the X1 xDrive25e M Sport last February, SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp., beefs that up with the availability of a second variant: the X1 xDrive25e xLine.
This newest X1 variant offers a perfect balance of rugged versatility, sophisticated design, and the advanced efficiency of a state-of-the-art plug-in hybrid powertrain—all with a more affordable price tag.
The X1 xDrive25e xLine delivers a combined system output of 245 horsepower and 477 Nm of torque from its electrified TwinPower Turbo gasoline engine. Power is routed through a hybrid-specific xDrive all-wheel drive giving it optimal traction and directional stability.
Its 0 to 100 km/h is done in just 6.8 seconds, but thanks to its large on-board battery, it has an impressive electric-only range of up to 102 kilometers making daily urban commutes a gas-free experience.
Beyond performance, the new BMW X1 xDrive25e xLine sets a high standard for occupant protection with a comprehensive suite of intelligent safety technologies. Equipped with the BMW Driving Assistant as standard, the vehicle features advanced Collision and Lane Change Warning systems designed to actively prevent accidents. This includes Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Crossing Traffic Warning among others, providing the driver with 360-degree awareness. Furthermore, the Parking Assistant—which includes a Reversing Assist Camera and Active Park Distance Control—ensures that even the most challenging maneuvers are executed with ease and precision.
Compared to the M Sport variant, the xLine variant has distinctive and robust elements including 18-inch light alloy wheels and Adaptive LED headlights with high-beam assist. The innovative interior is equipped with the BMW Live Cockpit Plus, featuring a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.7-inch widescreen display powered by the latest iDrive Operating System 9.
The BMW X1 xDrive25e xLine also comes with BMW ConnectedDrive Services. Furthermore, passengers can enjoy premium comfort with Veganza perforated black upholstery, sport seats for the driver and front passenger, and a high-quality stereo speaker system. Added conveniences include the Comfort Access System, an automatic tailgate, and a wireless charging shelf for smartphones.
The new BMW X1 xDrive25e xLine is available in eight colors: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Dune Grey, Cape York Green, Space Silver, Night Dusk Blue, and Fire Red.
Retailing for P 3,398,000 (P 600,000 less than the X1 xDrive 25e M Sport), it comes with a portable flexi charger, a 5-year comprehensive BMW warranty (or 200,000 kilometers whichever comes first), and an 8-year warranty for the electric battery (or 120,000 kilometers whichever comes first).

Good deal, a PHEV BMW at only P3.4M compared to the CRV or Japanese hybrids.
ReplyDeleteX1 is so much smaller though, about the size of corolla cross, not really comparable to cr-v rav etc
DeleteYeah a little bit bigger than the cross but didn't compromise on power with 245 horsepower and 477 Nm of torque and legendary bmw handling
Delete5yrs or 200,000km and 8yrs or 120,000km?
ReplyDeleteThat is correct. 5 years or 200,000 km bumper to bumper EXCEPT for the high traction battery which comes with 8 years or 120,000 km.
DeleteMade in Malaysia?
