Shell's New Saltwater Supercar Collection is Geeky Fun

Science is fun—that’s the principle behind this new toy collectible series from Shell. Going beyond static and buildable car models, Shell’s new Saltwater Supercar collection is unique in that it uses saltwater to power these sleek and futuristic model cars.

Hyundai continues with their “sportification” with the preview of the N Option brand. Showcased on the i30 N, the i30 N N Option (that sure sounds like a mouthful) signals Hyundai’s intent to enter the OEM aftermarket parts and accessories business. Its N Option will offer different customization options for owners much like Honda has with MUGEN and Modulo, Toyota with Gazoo and TRD, and Subaru with STI.

Motor Image Pilipinas Offers Last Call to Forester XT Buyers

Just like Paul Walker riding off to the sunset, Subaru is now closing the chapter of the turbocharged Forester’s era. With the confirmation that future Foresters will no longer carry the iconic boxer turbo, Motor Image Pilipinas is offering the Forester XT for those who want one last turbocharged ride.

Wunder Mobility, the company behind the urban carpooling app “Wunder Carpool”, recently added a new service to its portfolio: employee transportation shuttles. One of the first customers for the new service is Nowcom, a leading BPO with more than 400 employees in Ortigas. The Japanese trading company Marubeni Corporation invested and collaborated on a proof of concept with Wunder Mobility and Nowcom, as a step towards their future mobility portfolio.

After introducing the High Temperature Performance (HTP) line of lubricants last year with the DOT 4 brake fluid, ATF fluid, and lithium grease, Petron is adding three more HTP products to its portfolio with gasoline and diesel HTP engine oils and gear oil.

Two Chinese Brands Poised to Enter Philippine Market

Two new automotive brands are poised to enter the country in the next few months: MG and Maxus. Both hailing from China, one will be brought in by The Covenant Car Company, Inc., while the other by Ayala Corporation.
