Toyota Motor Philippines Reminds: Fake Parts Break Hearts

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is reminding its customers of the time-long adage: “fake parts break hearts.” This comes as several online sellers have been posting parts and accessories for sale bearing the Toyota Genuine Parts mark and logo.

The carmaker says that any online sale of automotive parts and accessories appearing or claimed by online sellers as genuine Toyota products is not authorized and sanctioned by Toyota Motor Philippines. Furthermore, TMP is reiterating that they are the sole and exclusive authorized distributor of Toyota Genuine Parts & Accessories, and will not tolerate any unauthorized sale of Toyota genuine parts and accessories online.

Toyota Motor Philippines is encouraging their customers to visit any of their authorized dealerships nationwide to ensure that only Toyota Genuine Parts and Accessories are supplied and installed on their Toyota vehicles. Aside from that, customers are assured of the right fitment, and are protected by a factory warranty against any manufacturing defect.

  1. Parts and accessories from dealerships regardless of any brand are vastly overpriced.

    1. Not necessarily. Bilstein shocks and other hi-end coilovers and other aftermarket parts have higher spec than standard OE parts. Don't tell me you are religiously using the OEM oil and oil filter.

  3. Daming peke ngayon lalo na Toyota parts. Maski auto supply stores hindi na malaman sa packaging kopyang kopya pero materyales na ginawa substandard pala
