You Can Test Drive The Hyundai Ioniq 5 At The Mall Of Asia This Weekend

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) will be at Block 19 SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Concert Grounds until Sunday, May 7 for the 2023 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival. For this installment, the brand is letting visitors get behind the wheel of the Hyundai model they have been eyeing which includes the Creta, Stargazer, Staria, Tucson and even its flagship all-electric vehicle, the Ioniq 5.

“Hyundai is thrilled to once again be a part of Autofocus’ bi-yearly activity, as it enables us to connect with more customers and provide them access to the latest cars and innovations that we have to offer. Technically, this is our second time to participate under the management of HMPH. We couldn’t be more eager though to utilize this opportunity to continue sharing our campaign on uplifting the quality of life among Filipino motorists through smarter mobility options,” according to Mr. Cecil Capacete, Managing Director of HMPH.

Officially previewed last April, Hyundai’s newest EV and 2023 World Car of The Year awardee, the Ioniq 6 will be on display. Lauded not just for its streamlined looks, but also for its extended range of 545 kilometers and trademarked bi-directional charging capability. Visitors can see it in metal and discover its vehicle-to-load (V2L) function more interactively as it powers up an ice cream bar. Look forward to frozen sweet treats perfect for the warm season being served for free upon registration.

Not only that, the Ioniq 5, which is already on retail in the market, will be available for test drive during the 4-day event. This is because there’s no better way to find out why it was the 2022 World Car of The Year winner than to see and feel this crossover utility vehicle (CUV) in all its glory. Identified for its bold appearance and spaciousness, this was Hyundai’s first model that introduced the brand’s pioneering Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and integrated power electric system. The latter became the world’s first multi-charging (400V/800V) technology with various power conversion features. One of which is the Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) function which will also be demonstrated on-ground for visitors to learn more about.

Customers who will test drive are entitled to receive a Hyundai-branded golf umbrella whereas those who will place a reservation at the venue will get a P 10,000 discount voucher
