2023 Honda City Gets Honda SENSING As Standard; Priced Starting At P975K

It is official: Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is launching the refreshed City sub-compact sedan on July 13, and reservations are now open for the new refreshed model via its website or through authorized dealerships nationwide.

The best-selling sedan in HCPI’s model lineup has been upgraded with a new look, additional color options, a new variant to offer a wider selection for unique lifestyle needs, and the inclusion of the Honda Sensing suite of safety features across all trims.

As an exclusive introductory offer, HCPI has a Special Drive Deal for a limited time. From July 1 to 12, 2023, customers are eligible for a waived reservation fee worth P 5,000 for units purchased and released on or before August 31.

The New Honda City will build on the strong foundation set by its predecessors and further enhance its value proposition by offering better performance and more features, in a super stylish design:
  • Standard Honda Sensing – with safety at the core of Honda, the new City finally gets the camera-based Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) as standard. Honda Sensing is available as standard equipment throughout the 2023 City model range on top of 4 SRS airbags and Vehicle Stability Assist. All in all, this should re-affirm its status as a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rated car.
  • Enhanced connectivity – the new City also receives a revised instrument cluster as well as an improved touchscreen display audio system, The 8-inch infotainment screen (except for the new 1.5 E CVT variant) receives wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • Bolder & Sportier Exterior Design – The new City also receives exterior enhancements such as a new grille and revised bumpers. New alloy wheel designs complete the changes.
  • Class-leading Power, Fuel Efficiency, and Overall Value – The new City will still be powered by a 1.5-liter normally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine. Its 121 horsepower, 145 Nm outputs make it top of its class. Furthermore, mated to a CVT exclusively, it also results in exceptional fuel efficiency.
  • Spaciousness – For young couples and families, the City makes the most of its size when it comes to cargo space and usability. Following the philosophy of Man Maximum, Machine Minimum, its spacious cargo capacity of 519 liters is the largest in its segment while the unique layout of the chassis allows for more occupant space in the cabin.
As mentioned, an additional variant joins the new City range in the form of the 1.5 E CVT Honda Sensing, making the driver-assist technologies more accessible for more customers to enjoy. The new City will be available in four grades with the following prices:
  • 1.5 E CVT Honda Sensing – P 975,000
  • 1.5 S CVT Honda Sensing  – P 999,000
  • 1.5 V CVT Honda Sensing – P 1,075,000
  • 1.5 RS CVT Honda Sensing – P 1,130,000
