All-New Mercedes-Benz GLC Launches In Philippines For P 5.190M (w/ Brochure)

The new GLC has raised the bar of the luxury SUVs. True to its commitment to build the world’s most desirable cars, Mercedes-Benz continues to press ahead with its sustainable strategy and the brand continually improves the quality of its products and services and keeps on adapting and diversifying.



The new GLC carries the innovative design language that was first introduced back with the new C-Class but in a luxury SUV form – from the exterior design characteristics all the way to the seamless and extensively digitized interior wherein it can bring all these luxurious touches to a wider market.

The Avantgarde exterior package includes LED high-performance headlights and two-section LED taillights for a perception of depth. The 19-inch 10 twin-spoke light alloy wheels painted in Tremolite perfects the look the brand wants to achieve.

In terms of dimensions, the all-new GLC has a 58 mm long length. Its wheelbase has also been stretched by 15 mm.

Inside, the all-new GLC offers a digitalized luxury experience with the MBUX infotainment system and its natural voice command functionality. It can be awakened by simply saying, “Hey Mercedes.” It also comes with a wireless charging system on top of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.



Setting the mood like never before, the GLC comes with the Burmester 3D Surround Sound System with 15 speakers and a sound system output of 710 watts. This is on top of a 64-color ambient lighting system. It also has a 11.9-inch central display touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

With all seats up, the GLC boasts of 620 liters of luggage space, topping out at 1,680 liters with the rear seats down.

Available as the GLC 200 4Matic, this equates to having an electrified turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 204 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 320 Nm of torque from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm. With a 48-volt mild hybrid system (EQ Boost Mild Hybrid), it achieves a 7.8-second 0 to 100 km/h time, a top speed of 221 km/h, and fuel economy of up to 15.15 km/L.



The Dynamic Select system and the 4Matic all-wheel drive system unlocks a special Offroad mode which maximizes the abilities of the GLC through rough terrain. Moreover, the shock absorbers feature adaptive passive dampers for improved ride comfort.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC comes standard with Active Parking Assist with Parktronic. The Active Brake Assist with Pedestrian Protection gives all around safety, while the Guard 360 system protects the vehicle when parked.
