Order Books Open For 635-Horsepower 2024 Range Rover Sport SV

All British Cars, Inc., the official dealer of Land Rover vehicles in the Philippines is now taking orders for the all-new Range Rover Sport SV. The most powerful and most dynamic Range Rover Sport ever, it’s ready to take on the likes of the Lamborghini Urus.

The Range Rover Sport SV comes packing a BMW-sourced twin-turbo V8 engine. This helps it produce 635 horsepower and 750 Nm, enabling this SUV to rocket to 100 km/h from zero in just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h. An 8-speed automatic with a mild-hybrid helps it improve its fuel efficiency.

Keeping all that power to the pavement, the Range Rover Sport SV comes the brand’s 6D Dynamics air suspension that virtually eliminates both pitch and roll. Unique tuning has been done to its all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, torque vectoring by braking, and active locking rear differential as well to deliver a more driver-focused, sportscar-like setup. More than that, it has a new rear subframe and suspension links. The steering also has the fastest ratio ever fitted to any Range Rover to date.

Also, for the first time ever in a Range Rover, rear 305-section rear tires are fitted—20 mm wider than the 285 mm section front tires. The Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, measuring at 23 inches in diameter are fitted to carbon fiber wheels. Front “Octyma” calipers and carbon ceramic brakes are also available as an option and this helps reduce unsprung mass. This improves brake fade resistance and a longer lifespan compared to the cast iron disc brakes.

Communicating the performance, the Range Rover Sport SV has a revised front-end that’s been enhanced for airflow. Carbon fiber detailing is found outside, while at the back are carbon fiber-tipped dual exhausts with an active exhaust system. Inside, it has carbon fiber-backed performance seats with integrated headrests and more sculpted bolstering. The lightweight design uses Ultrafabrics with 3D-Knit zero waste textile. Black Ceramic finishes are also found on key touchpoints.

The Range Rover Sport SV also packs a “Body and Soul Seat” which promises a multi-dimensional audio experience that uses AI. This helps it align its 29-speaker, 1,430-watt Meridian Signature sound system to its occupants.

The Range Rover Sport SV comes in three colors: the Carbon Bronze Matte, Obsidian Black Gloss, and Flux Silver Gloss.

Pricing for the Range Rover Sport SV hasn’t been revealed, but given it’s available solely as the limited production run Edition One, expect it to reach close to P 20 million. By comparison, the Range Rover Sport Dynamic SE D300 is already priced at P 14.790 million.
