All-New Nissan Z Now Available In The Philippines For P 3.888M (w/ Specs)

After hitting some production delays early in its launch phase, Nissan dealers in the Philippines is now ready to take orders for the all-new Nissan Z starting on September 21.

The all-new Nissan Z drops the numerical prefix in its name, although it could very well be called the “400Z” because of its twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 making 383 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque.

Helping it achieve the marked increase in both power and torque, the all-new Z adopts small-diameter turbochargers as well as a turbo speed sensor that ensures that the turbos are fully utilized. The use of an electronic variable valve timing (e-VVT) intake valve system further ensures optimum response, adjusting the intake valve timing on-the-fly helping it achieve excellent responses and fuel efficiency in a wide variety of driving scenarios.

For the Philippine market, Nissan is not only offering a 9-speed automatic for the new Z, but they’re saving the manuals with the option of a 6-speed close-ratio manual. The manual has a high-performance clutch and comes with a launch control system—the first for Nissan.

The Nissan Z (RZ34) still rides on the brand’s Front Midship platform but offers rigidity enhancements, adoption of an electric power steering system, and a new shock absorber design with a larger diameter upfront. Also standard is a mechanical clutch-type limited slip differential.

As for the price, both the manual and automatic versions will carry the exact same price tag: P 3,888,000. It’s a hefty, almost a million peso price jump over the previous 370Z, but the all-new Z does carry a longer list of standard equipment such as 19-inch forged RAYS wheels, a complete exterior aero kit, powered leather/suede seats, aluminum pedals, a 8-inch infotainment system with NissanConnect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker Bose sound system with Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement.

It will also carry a range of driver assistance and safety technologies, including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, High Beam Assist, and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning.

There are six colors all in all for the Philippine market, five of them are two-tone: Passion Red/Black Roof, Ikazuchi Yellow/Black Roof, Seiran Blue/Black Roof, Everest White/Black Roof, Boulder Gray Pearl/Black Roof; the only monotone color is Black Diamond Pearl.

  9. Almost perfect except for that ancient 8-inch display. But then again you'd be too busy enjoying the drive to even bother looking at that tiny old screen.
