BYD To Showcase Han, Tang At Power Plant Mall This Weekend

BYD will take center stage at the North Court Area of the Rockwell Power Plant Mall from April 5 to 7, for a weekend display and test drive activity with two of its premium full-electric offerings: the BYD Han electric sports sedan, and the BYD Tang three-row electric SUV.

Throughout the weekend, both luxury electric vehicles will be available to the public to see, touch, drive, and experience, along with test drives for the BYD Atto 3 crossover and the BYD Dolphin.

Organized by BYD Greenfield, one of the dealers under Iconic Dealership, Inc. (IDI), the dealership arm of ACMobility, the mall display brings BYD’s highly sought-after full-electric vehicle nameplates closer to the public.

“BYD’s presence at the Rockwell Power Plant Mall, one of Metro Manila’s premier shopping destinations, is a testament to the commanding presence and superior build quality of its electric vehicles,” shares Bob Palanca, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of IDI.

“As the first all-electric vehicle brand to be welcomed inside this prestigious mall, BYD now shares this exclusive space with other luxury automotive marques that exude quality, craftsmanship, and technological excellence. We invite the public to visit the BYD display at the Power Plant Mall this weekend to learn and experience the benefits of electric vehicle ownership firsthand,” adds Palanca.

The BYD Han and the BYD Tang exude luxury, quality, performance, and safety as part of the BYD Dynasty Series.

Powered by Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors front and rear, the BYD Han uses Intelligent Electric All-Wheel Drive to deliver 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 3.9 seconds. With a range of up to 521 kilometers (WLTP), the 516 horsepower peak power and 700 Nm of torque produced by the BYD Han are as impressive as they are efficient.

As the BYD flagship SUV, the Tang has 516 horsepower and 700 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Like the Han, it benefits from the All-Wheel Drive traction delivered by its dual electric motors.

BYD’s proprietary Blade Battery Technology powers the BYD Han and Tang. Its lithium iron phosphate chemistry and its unique array construction makes it an ultra-safe battery with ultra-strong structure for durability as well as ultra-long range and lifespan.

Customers are encouraged to visit the Rockwell Power Plant Mall from April 5 to 7, from 11 AM to 9 PM to experience BYD’s flagship electric vehicles.

  1. The only chinese car company that i solely admire when it comes to quality electric vehicles. BYD's engineering is truly top notch, so d*mn impressive! The rest even japan's, they're good but not that great. But it's a different story when it comes to combustions and hybrids of course!

  2. I don't understand why they escaped the MiAS show? People will go Instead to The biggest AutoShow to spend time with sexy models and variety of all kinds of cars rather than to see this BYD in mall.
