Ford PH Confirms: No Price Increase On Select Ranger Variants, Offers Bigger Savings This July

Ford Philippines has confirmed that, at least for the month of July, several variants of its Ranger pickup trucks won’t be affected by the removal of the excise tax exemption on pickup trucks. These variants are the Ranger XL, XLT, Sport, Sport Special Edition, and Wildtrak.

In connection with this, the carmaker is also bringing back its Truck Month this July where customers can enjoy special deals including all-in down payments offers, low monthly fees, cash discounts, and free service offers.

With Ford Truck Month, customers getting a Ranger Sport 4x2 can avail of the P 50,000 all-in low down payment at P 24,888 low monthly fee with a free 3-year scheduled service plan (SSP), or a Ranger Sport 4x4 with an all-in low down payment of P 88,000 with free 3-year SSP. Meanwhile, as much as P 70,000 cash savings is available for those getting a Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 or 4x2 variant. The Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo 4x4 is also available with an all-in down payment of P 188,000 together with the 5-Star Care package.

“July is definitely the best time to get a Ford Ranger with our Truck Month deals, made even better by our zero-price increase offer across our Ranger line-up, delivering great value to the customers and their Ford ownership experience,” shares Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines.

For a limited time, customers can also take advantage of additional offers with Ford’s Freedom Fest. From July 4 to 6, additional cash savings of P 10,000 await customers in all Ford dealerships nationwide with a purchase of a Ford Ranger, Everest, Territory, Explorer, or Mustang. The 3-day Freedom Fest takes inspiration from Ford’s highly successful March Madness Sale earlier this year that was widely celebrated by Ford dealerships all over the country.

Apart from deals available for the Ranger this July, customers can also avail of exclusive offers for the rest of the Ford line-up. The Territory is available with a P 80,000 cash discount or P 75,000 all-in low down payment at P 22,299 low monthly fee with free 3-year SSP. All Territory variants also come with a free 1-month amortization made possible by Ford’s partnership with EastWest Bank.

On the other hand, customers getting a Ford Everest can get the 7-seater SUV with an all-in low down payment of P 99,000 or at a starting retail price of P 1,789,000 with free 3-year SSP for the Everest Trend 4x2.

The Ford Explorer is available at an all-in low down payment of P 99,000 plus free 3-month amortization and 5-Star Care in partnership with Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). The Explorer is also offered at zero percent interest plus 5-year scheduled service plan in partnership with EastWest Bank. Finally, the Explorer comes with a bigger P 700,000 cash discount this July.

“We look forward to seeing more customers and enthusiasts drive their dream Ford with our slew of offers and deals available for our best-selling vehicles headlined by the Truck Month and Freedom Fest this July,” added Simoes.

  1. Ford CEO Jim Farley said last week that China's EVs are "far superior" to anything the West offers and threaten the very existence of U.S. automakers.

    1. The euro brands have been smarter and have been doing partnerships with chinese brands to improve their EVs (kinda like how chinese brands learned from western brands although the western brands were of course forced/required by the Chinese government to do this in order to enter the chinese market). The US brands (aside from Tesla) will still face tougher competition from chinese technology as the euro brands fine-tune their offerings that they will bring to the US. Europe is kinda spoiled for choice right now and it's going to look even more competitive as chinese brands are building factories in Europe to bypass tariffs.

  4. US and western world, think about your strategy. The more you rely on china, the more it can do damage to democracy.

    2. You should watch SmarterEveryDay on youtube where he has a video about trying to make something in America. The TL:DR is that NOT going to China for your manufacturing (even the smallest bits) is just not financially feasible because of decades of lost manufacturing expertise in the states. Trump chickened out with his monster tariffs on China. Trump Always Chickens Out.
