Inchcape Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Changan in the country, says its two new electrified vehicles—the Nevo Q05 SUV and Hunter K50 pickup truck both sport the longest comprehensive range in their respective categories.
Launched this year at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), the Changan Nevo Q05 Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle offers 115 kilometers of pure EV range (1,215 kilometers comprehensive range) thanks to its 18.4-kWh high-voltage battery—the biggest (by 0.1 kWh) in its class and a supplementary 51-liter fuel tank.
The Nevo Q05 is also equipped with several drive modes, a panoramic sunroof with rain sensor, park in & park out assist, a dash cam, and even driving assistance features. It’s competitively priced at P 1,259,000 for the SE variant and P 1,449,000 for the iD variant.
Meanwhile, the Nevo Hunter K50 Range-Extended EV boasts of a 31.18-kWh battery pack giving it an EV range of 131 kilometers and 1,031 kilometers of comprehensive EV range, thanks to a 70-liter fuel tank—the longest in its segment too.
The world’s first-ever range-extended electric pickup truck, it’s powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder range extender engine and dual electric motors. It offers the flexibility of being driven in three modes—BEV, PHEV, and iEM. Apart from that, it maximizes its traction with its front and rear electronic locking differentials and 10 driving modes.
The Changan Nevo Hunter K50 is priced at P 1,699,000 for its 4x2 variant, and P 1,970,000 for its 4x4 variant.
