Changan Philippines introduces the all-new Changan CS35 Max—a more aggressive, sportier, and driver-centric upgraded version of the CS35 Pro.
One of the main differences of the CS35 Max is its bigger dimensions (together with a 115 mm longer wheelbase). The CS35 Max’s aggressive styling features red accents and LED headlights with automatic on/off functionality. It also has 18-inch alloy wheels as standard equipment. Other features include heated sideview mirrors, front and rear fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, and a power tailgate.
Inside, the CS35 Max features a digital gauge cluster—7 inches in the Lite and 12.3-inch in the Luxe, a tilt/telescopic steering column, and multi-adjustable manual front seats—fabric in the Lite and leather in the Luxe.
Regardless of variant, infotainment duties are handled by a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Lite has a 4-speaker sound system, while the Luxe has a 6-speaker Sony system.
On the other hand, the Luxe variant has rear air vents, a wireless charger, LED reading lights, and a panoramic sunroof with rain sensor (just a regular moonroof for the Lite).
Under the hood, the CS35 Max has a turbocharged 1.5-liter Bluecore gasoline engine and a 7-speed dual clutch automatic with 180 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. Five driver-selectable modes—Eco, Normal, Sport, Race, and Smart come as standard.
The CS35 Max comes equipped with a wide array of safety features such as ABS with EBD, stability control, hill hold control, hill descent control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, rear parking sensors, rear camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The Luxe also has additional safety features such as the 540-degree Virtual View Camera, a built-in driving recorder, adaptive cruise control, and a complement of 6 airbags.
The all-new Changan CS35 Max is available in three colors: White, Interstellar Gray, and Black. Prices start at P 1,109,999 for the CS35 Max Lite and P 1,199,999 for the CS35 Max Luxe.
