After its official Philippine launch last March 25, Tesla Philippines has now opened orders for its three-row, six-seater Model Y L. The all-electric mid-sized SUV is now available for orders at Tesla Philippines’ official website.
Coming in a single variant—the Model Y L is priced at P 2,849,000 for the Premium All-Wheel Drive variant. This price is inclusive of the Pearl White Multi-Coat colorway, 19-inch “Machina 2.0” alloy wheels, a panoramic glass roof, a front 16-inch center touchscreen, a 8-inch second-row touchscreen, and a 19-speaker audio system.
It also has access to the Tesla charging network, a 30-day premium connectivity, and a 4-year or 80,000 bumper-to-bumper warranty and an 8-year or 192,000-kilometer high-voltage battery warranty.
Options will quickly ramp the price up. These include exterior colors: Diamond Black (P 66,000), Stealth Gray (P 99,000), Glacier Blue (P 99,000), Ultra Red (P 146,000), and Cosmic Silver (P 146,000). Opting for the Zen Gray Interior bumps up the price further up by P 66,000 as well.
Like all other Tesla models, the Model Y L comes standard with “Basic Autopilot” that bundles in Autosteer and traffic-aware cruise control.
But, for an additional P 197,000, customers can opt for Enhanced Auto Pilot that adds lane changing, Auto Park, Summon and Navigate Autopilot. Finally, Full Self-Driving Capability is available for a whopping P 394,000 extra.
According to Tesla, once customers put in a non-refundable deposit of P 15,000, deliveries of their Model Y L is expected to take 2 to 3 months.
Officially an extension of the Model Y range, the Model Y L tapes in at 4,969 mm in length, 1,982 mm in width, and 1,668 mm in height. That makes it 179 mm longer and 44 mm taller than the regular two-row Model Y. Its wheelbase is up to 2,890 mm.
The Model Y L has 514 horsepower (378 kW) thanks to dual motors offering a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 5. Top speed remains 201 km/h thanks to a single-speed gearbox. With an 88.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, Tesla Philippines says it offers 681 kilometers of WLTP range—up slightly from the regular Model Y thanks to the larger, three-row SUV’s aerodynamics.
Thanks to its larger body and requirement to ferry six adults, the Model Y L has unique spring and shock absorber tuning that includes frequency-selective dampers.

681 kms for an 88kwh is very efficient, if true
ReplyDeleteWhy wait 2 to 3 months for a made in China Tesla? Long queue? Hot selling vehicle?
ReplyDeleteProcessing takes time especially in Manila
DeleteButi at competitive pricing ginawa ng Tesla Philippines!
ReplyDeleteThis costs 2.96M sa China.
Can’t wait for my unit to arrive!
Congratulations in advance for your Tesla Model Y L
DeleteI cant wait that long..
ReplyDeleteHello zeekr x
LOL. Comparing a Zeekr X that can barely fit five average Filipino adults to the Tesla Model Y L that can comfortably fit six of the same. Not to mention, their price points are different. At least make an effort if you're going to make a comparison. If what you meant is the Zeekr 7X, which would've been the more apt comparison in the first place, then I have some bad news for you. The wait times for the Zeekr 7X is roughly the same as the Model Y L. If you were indeed in the market for one, you would've known that information. Clearly, you're just trolling.
DeleteHello headache. Good luck with that risky purchase
DeleteMaganda naman Zeekr 7x. Australian reviews have it winning over the Tesla Y with biggest factor is the price.
DeletePero dito, base Zeekr is 2.8M while base Tesla Y is 2.3M.
Same price din ang Tesla YL sa base Zeekr at 2.8M.
Top model Zeekr is 3M.
Masyadong mahal ang Zeekr sa atin kaya good luck na lang.
There are more than 3,000 Zeekr 7x in Australia after deliveries started arriving in November. It is one of the hottest selling SUV's there. Similar to Malaysia, they have more than 2,000+ deliveries. it's starting to become a bestseller in Europe and in Latin America. So what do they know that we don't? Build quality is superb. At par or exceeds European cars.
DeleteIn the Philippines, i reckon we're just 40 owners or so of the 7x. Pricing could be better, app should be made available. The only downside is if Autohub pulls out. But yes, the prices are a little bit more around probably 200-300k higher. I don't mind. it still punches way above its class for the amount you're paying. If it was cheaper probably people would consider it and buy it. It's truly a Tesla Model Y competitor - in other markets it's slightly priced lower or at par with Tesla.
Geely tech + Volvo automotive engineering quality = win win
DeleteIf Geely can take over Geely Philippines, I don’t see why they or Zeekr can’t do the same with Zeekr Philippines.
DeleteGood thing Tesla priced their cars here very low compared to other countries.
ReplyDeleteThe base YL costs 3.3M in Australia, 3.8M in Thailand & Malaysia.
We even have a 1.8M Model 3!
