The Vigo exterior design is modern with its striking LED headlights and L-shaped daytime running lights. 18-inch aerodynamic wheels and semi-hidden door handles maximize efficiency. At the rear, it gets the distinctive “triangular crystal tower” taillights and a segment-exclusive double-split tailgate enabling it to open even in tight spaces. When put down, the lower part can accommodate up to 150 kilograms of load capacity.

Inside, the “Rubik’s Cube” design unlocks exceptional versatility. Despite its compact footprint, it offers a segment-leading 2,715 mm wheelbase. It also has a 500-liter trunk space setting a benchmark in the small SUV segment.

Measuring 4,306 mm long, 1,868 mm wide and 1,654 mm high, the Vigo is ideally sized for daily urban driving while remaining ready for weekend adventures. Practical features include a one-touch “camping mode” that maintains cabin temperature at a steady 25 degrees while also providing continuous power via its built-in Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability.

Feature highlights include PVC leather seating with power adjustable front seats, a large 12.8-inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, 8.88-inch digital driver’s display, and ambient lighting that reacts to music. Uniquely, it also has an external speaker for out-of-vehicle use.

Powering the Vigo EV is Dongfeng’s Mach E permanent magnet synchronous motor. It provides 163 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. It has selectable drive modes and adjustable levels of brake regeneration.

Supporting the front-mounted motor is a 51-kWh LFP battery which can deliver around 340 kilometers of range (WLTP). In addition, it can be charged using the CCS Type 2 standard with fast charging taking as little as 18 minutes (30 to 80 percent) and conventional charging taking seven hours.

In terms of safety features, the Vigo is packed. It comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, and a 360-degree surround view camera. It also comes with Level 2 self-driving ADAS incorporating AEB, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist and intelligent adaptive cruise control.

The Vigo EV comes standard with a 5-year or 150,000-kilometer bumper-to-bumper warranty and an 8-year or 170,000-kilometer battery warranty. It comes in two colors: Orange and Silver with a suggested retail price of just P 1,458,000.
