The All-New Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Reignites Mitsubishi's Signature Philosophy of Performance and Ingenuity

After its initial introduction in 2020, the All-New Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) is back and has officially entered the Philippine market. As Mitsubishi’s flagship electrified model, it combines sustainability with the brand’s signature foundations of having impressive off-road capability and its renowned Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) system.

Under the hood, the All-New Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is powered by a 2.4-liter gasoline engine with MIVEC, paired with front and rear electric motors. Built with advanced PHEV technology, it intelligently switches between electric and gasoline power to deliver incredible performance, while maximizing efficiency. Drivers can expect a combined system output of 306 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque with every push, with a combined driving range of up to 1,000-kilometers and 100-kilometers of pure electric range.

Designed to deliver flexible mobility, the All-New Outlander PHEV offers the driver full control over switching between multiple EV drive modes (Normal, Save, Charge, and EV priority). It further supports AC Type-2 charging protocol, making it compatible with the country’s current EV charging infrastructure.

At the same time, the presence of Mitsubishi’s renowned Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) continuously optimizes traction, stability, and handling, giving drivers greater confidence and control across a wide range of road and driving conditions. It is a fully integrated system that brings together the Twin-Motor 4WD, Active Yaw Control (AYC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Active Stability Control (ASC), and Traction Control System (TCS).

Complementing the S-AWC are seven selectable drive modes: Normal, Eco, and Power. These allow drivers to tailor performance to suit everyday driver style. At the same time, Tarmac, Gravel, Snow, and Mud modes optimize power delivery and traction control, based on varying road surfaces.

As Mitsubishi’s flagship electrified compact SUV, the All-New Outlander PHEV is designed to embody the brand’s heritage, while showcasing a modern and sophisticated presence that reflects the brand’s evolving design language. The signature Dynamic Shield concept reinforces the vehicle’s unmistakable identity, further accentuated by full LED lighting fixtures and striking 2-inch machine-finished two-tone alloy wheels. The vehicle has an overall muscular stance, with every exterior detail thoughtfully engineered to enhance functionality and road presence. In fact, the use of steel on prominent body components was intentional, in order to improve noise and vibration characteristics.

Inside the cabin, passengers can expect thoughtfully-placed details that offer refinement, luxury, and functionality. The interior features premium leather-trimmed seats and meticulously finished soft-touch materials to create an elevated atmosphere that reflects the vehicle’s flagship status. Comfort is enhanced with a tri-zone climate control system and 8-way power adjustable seats (for both driver and passenger) with lumbar support, memory functions, and ventilation for each seat.

esigned with the human aspect in mind, it features a 12.3-inch Smartphone-Link Display Audio (SDA) with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired to an immersive 8-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha premium audio system. Adding to the ambiance is a panoramic sunroof, allowing natural light, and creating an open, lounge-like experience for every passenger.

The All-New Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is now available in three premium exterior colorways: White Diamond, Black Diamond, and Red Diamond. It starts at P 2,848,000, with a special introductory price of P 2,749,000 from August 20 to September 30, 2026.
