This New SUV Uses Volvo's New Platform (And It's Not Branded a Volvo)
You’re looking at the first application of Volvo’s new Compact Modular Architecture (CMA). Oddly enough, it’s not underpinning a Volvo 60-series or XC40; it’s underpinning this new SUV from a brand-new carmaker: Lynk & Co.

Video: Volvo Engineer Attacks Spy Photographer
Whoever said it's easy to be an automotive spy photographer? Normally, you spend hours camped out in the weirdest locations just to catch a snap or two of a camouflaged car. Some car engineers will speed out of camera range and some will flip the bird at you. However, this Volvo engineer has taken things a bit too far and decided to attach the spy photographer.
Deciding the photographer has taken too much photos/video of the upcoming Volvo XC40 testing in the Rocky Mountains in the USA, a Volvo engineer actually steps out of his camouflaged vehicle, attacked the photographer, and broke his camera in the process. This isn't the normal Swedish levelheadedness.

Could Geely Shake Up the Local Automotive Industry?
Geely is making a comeback, and this time they’ll have backing from an unlikely source: Sojitz Corporation. Sojitz is a “sogo shosha” or a general trading company, and this means they’re involved in the buying, selling, importing, and exporting of various goods including automobiles. Now, a Japanese trading company importing Chinese cars is an odd combination in itself, but it must not be forgotten, Sojitz used to own 49 percent of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines before divesting their stake in June of last year.

Review: 2021 Lexus UX 200 F Sport
What’s in a label? On one hand, the overall shape and form of the Lexus UX says it is a hatchback, but the plastic cladding and (slightly) raised ride height says it is an SUV. Regardless of label though, Lexus perfectly understands that everyone wants crossovers these days, and they have decided to make their entry-level model exactly that. Whatever you use to describe the UX though—hatchback, SUV, or crossover—it is, without a doubt, a stunner. Note to others: this is how entry-level models should be done.
