2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition Celebrates 100 Years of Legendary Chevy Trucks

For 100 years, Chevrolet has relentlessly built legendary, strong, and dependable trucks that are made for work and play. From the first production Chevy 1918 One-Ton to the redesigned Chevrolet Colorado, the same DNA has been carried through each Chevrolet truck: power, dependability, durability, and quality.

Today, Chevrolet Philippines – The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), announces the company is accepting reservations for the bowtie brand’s latest icon: the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition, a few weeks after its debut in Thailand.

The 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition features design elements that exude the rich Chevrolet truck engineering history. It includes exclusive heritage bowtie emblems on the front and rear. On its front doors are 100-year Chevrolet badges that are inspired by the colors and design cues found on early trucks. Each limited-edition Colorado Centennial model also features a vehicle build number displayed as badges on its front doors and unique hood decals.

Sitting on 18-inch black alloy wheels,  the truck’s robust design makes it the ideal vehicle for heavy-duty work and off-road adventures. The rugged character of the 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition is further enhanced by the inclusion of a bedliner, fender flares, and a tubular body sports bar as standard.

The Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition is powered by a 2.8-liter Duramax four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. With a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT), it produces 200 horsepower at 3,800 rpm and 500 Nm of torque at a low 2,000 rpm. The Euro 4-compliant engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Colorado retains the same serious off-road capability with its 1-ton hauling capacity, 3.5-ton towing capacity, and best-in-class 800-mm water wading capability.

The Chevrolet truck is equipped with host of active and passive safety features to keep your mind at ease wherever you are on the road. The 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition features side impact beams, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), dual front airbags, Panic Brake Assist (PBA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Descent Control (HDC) and Hill Start Assist (HSA), Roll-Over Mitigation (ROM), and Trailer Sway Control (TSC).

The Colorado also comes with convenient features including remote start engine, front and rear park assist, electro chromatic inside rearview mirror, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, and tire pressure monitoring system.

Inside, the new 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition provides superior comfort and segment-leading technology and connectivity, including an intuitive 8-inch color touchscreen that houses the latest-generation Chevrolet MyLink Infotainment System and Siri Eyes Free, which serves as a vehicle personal assistant so you can keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel at all times.

The 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition is another icon in the bowtie brand’s legendary line of trucks. Available at a limited number, the special edition truck is priced at PHP 1,848,888.00. It will be available in Summit White color.

The 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial Edition will officially be available in Chevrolet showrooms on November 30, 2017. It will also be featured in the upcoming Chevrolet Motorama at SM Megamall from November 30 to December 6, 2017.

  1. Autoactiv's favorite vehicle. Talo pa nito ang mga sportscar because of its 200hp and 500Nm of torque.

    1. I dont wanna buy this version because of the front bumber. Same with the Tucson and the Trailblazer, the bumper design is like a "boat paddle" the one used for boating in the river.

    2. Boat paddle??!?!? WTF are you talking about? I don't see it.

    3. Could you see the continues black plastic (lower bumper) connecting the two fog lamps?
Left Oval Shape + Center Long Rectangle + Right Oval Shape = Boat Paddle

  2. Looks awesome but ang laki naman ng premium pinatong ng Chevy

  3. Wala po ba ung Brochure and Specs niyan? Thank You Po!

    1. Basically, it's the same as the 2.8 LTZ Z71 model. Appearance kit lang.

  4. Ang Mahal naman. I'll just go for the top of the line Ford Ranger. Set-up ng new Raptor grill, Ayos na!

  5. ^Anatomically challenged.
