Hyundai PH Celebrates Local Assembly Of Accent With Online Game

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. is celebrating the local assembly of its Accent sub-compact sedan with The Great Accent Find, a Facebook contest that will offer some mental stimulation; it can win you prizes as well.

Since late last year, Hyundai has opted to assemble its Accent sub-compact sedan. Despite the change in sourcing (it used to be sourced from India), its variants and pricing remain the same. It remains available six variants and with two engine choices:
  • Accent 1.4 GL MT w/o SRS - P 790,000
  • Accent 1.4 GL AT w/o SRS - P 838,000
  • Accent 1.4 GL MT w/ SRS - P 838,000
  • Accent 1.4 GL AT w/ SRS - P 890,000
  • Accent 1.6 CRDi GL MT - P 910,000
  • Accent 1.6 CRDi GL AT - P 1,038,000
“We strategically launched our online game on the month celebrating Philippine Independence to underscore that the Hyundai Accent is a car proudly assembled in the Philippines, for the Filipino,” affirmed HARI President and CEO, Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.

“The Accent remains one of our best-sellers for its fuel economy, safety and toughness. It is the go-to, go-anywhere car of many Filipinos, so it is only logical that it should be the vehicle to take you and your family on this virtual learning tour of the country,” she added.

From June 4 to August 10, 2021, get a chance to win e-GCs by finding the Hyundai Accent in famous Philippine tourist or historical landmarks.

Clues about each landmark will be posted on specific days from June 4 up to August 10. See contest mechanics here.

Guess the landmark and locate it on Google Maps to uncover the photo of the Hyundai Accent that’s hidden there.

Post the URL of your find on your Facebook account with the caption <I found the Hyundai Accent at (location)> #TheGreatAccentFind>, and tag Hyundai Philippines on FB.

Fill in your contact details on the registration page per game and you’re done!

The first 20 participants to find all 20 hidden Hyundai Accents will receive e-GCs worth P 2,000 each.

Winners will be announced on August 18, 2021, HARI’s anniversary month.

“Globally, even before 2020 happened, Hyundai has engaged customers online with interactive games that create productive and interesting bonding moments for families and friends—more so now in the New Normal,” concluded Ms. Agudo.

  2. Hope the Philippine govt will pass a law requiring all car manufacturers to put at least dual airbags for the driver and passenger. Minimum requirement.

  3. Hyundai Phils. should stop the production of Accent vehicles with no airbags. I think this is the only car company in the Phils. with vehicles that have no airbags.
