What Do You Think Of The 2025 Kia Carnival's Styling?

While most of the attention is focused at the first-ever Japan Mobility Show, Kia quietly slipped in the refreshed 2025 Kia Carnival.

The Korean automaker just released new photos of the restyled MPV and a few details to go with it ahead of its official global launch.

Up front, the Carnival has been totally redesigned with a new grille, headlight, and bumper. There’s greater emphasis on giving it visual heft and this could be seen in the new headlight design ala the new Seltos. The headlights are now stacked vertically, while the DRL extends into the center of the grille. The lower side intakes in the bumper are gone, but the main central opening in the lower bumper has been enlarged.

A similar theme is found at the back with the taillights made to extend downward and horizontally, almost meeting in the middle. The tailgate itself is also totally redesigned, and the bumper has been retrimmed too. Overall, the design is closer to the EV9’s geometric design.

As for the rest—the mechanical and interior bits—Kia hasn’t revealed those yet, but expect it to gain the tech features introduced in the refreshed Sorento as well. This may include a panoramic curved display with a next-generation infotainment system called ccNC, new climate control switches (which shares the same bank of physical controls as the infotainment system), and a fingerprint authentication system that can be used to start the engine or make microtransactions.

Kia did confirm, however, that it will get a new Gravity trim in South Korea. That one has numerous black elements for a sportier look.

With Kia now releasing the exterior design details of the 2025 Carnival, its official reveal is no doubt just a few months or even just a few weeks away. Stay tuned.

  2. In the metal, one can easily get tired looking at kias and hyundais. It takes just a few months then these things will already look dated.
