Subaru Car Challenge, Advanced Technology Drive Slated For October 27 To 29

After the call for participants last August, it’s all systems go for the return of the Subaru Car Challenge (aka Subaru Palm Challenge) this October 28, 2023.

Originally slated for September 23, the Philippine leg of the Subaru Car Challenge is now happening at the expansion wing of the Festival Mall in Alabang on October 28 starting 10 AM.

Until 4 PM, the 60 contestants will showcase their endurance at the 2023 Subaru Car Challenge. This year’s edition presents contestants with a rigorous series of elimination games that will unfold over the course of six hours. Each of the challenges is crafted to test the contestants' physical and mental resilience.

The top five contenders will then have the opportunity to move one step closer to winning a brand-new Subaru Crosstrek, provided they emerge victorious against their regional rivals from Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam in Ngee Ann City, Singapore on November 4 to 5.

Country finalists will each get a round trip ticket to Singapore as well as a four-day, three-night hotel accomodation.

Meanwhile, for Subaru car enthusiasts eager to explore the brand's latest technologies, the Subaru Car Challenge will also play host to the next leg of the Subaru Advanced Technology Drive (SATD) event, taking place at the Bridgeway Parking area (Decathlon Open Parking) from October 27 to 29.

The SATD allows Subaru enthusiasts and participants to fully experience Subaru’s innovative Core Technologies:
  • Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD)
  • Subaru Global Platform (SGP)
  • Boxer Engine
  • EyeSight 4.0 Advanced Driver Assist Technology
Visitors participating in SATD will experience the capabilities of the Subaru cars through a specially- designed obstacle course. Secure your slot and register for the SATD as early as today.
