Jetour Auto Philippines, Inc. (JAPI) has recorded its strongest sales performance yet with year-to-date sales of 2,055 units. And with 1,891 unit sold, it has also been recognized as the top-selling Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) brand for the first half of 2026 among CAMPI-TMA members.
The achievement reflects the growing confidence of Filipino consumers in Jetour’s Lightning i-DM Series, including the T1 Lightning i-DM, T2 Lightning i-DM, and X70 Lightning i-DM, as well as the company’s continuing investment in its dealer network, customer service, and product development. For United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), the parent company of Jetour Auto Philippines, the achievement is both a source of pride and a responsibility to continue earning the trust of its customers.
“This is not simply about the numbers. For us, it is about the confidence Filipino consumers have placed in Jetour,” said UAAGI Chairman Mr. Rommel Sytin. “We are sincerely grateful to our customers, dealers, and employees who have helped us reach this point. This milestone encourages us to do better and continue earning that trust.”
Jetour Auto Philippines Managing Director Mr. Miguelito Jose added that the recognition reinforces the company’s commitment to electrified mobility. “Being recognized as the country’s leading PHEV-selling brand for the first half of the year is a proud moment for everyone at Jetour Auto Philippines. More importantly, it gives us a greater responsibility to ensure that our products and services continue to meet the expectations of our customers.” And we credit its growth to the people behind the brand.
With the growth of its customer base, Jetour is accelerating the development of its nationwide dealer and service network. Led by Engr. Marvin Martinez, with Deputy Director Ms. Dang San Juan, the Dealer Network Development team is expanding the brand’s presence across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
“Our objective is not simply to put more dealerships on a map,” said Engr. Martinez. “We want every location to properly serve the customers in its community. As Jetour grows, our responsibility is to make sure our customers have confidence in the support available to them.” Jetour is working toward nearly 30 dealerships nationwide, with additional facilities under development in key areas across Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Jetour’s sales organization, led by Sales Director Mr. Nikko Sayson, together with Deputy Directors Mr. Ryan Dela Cruz and Ms. Julie Sevilla, continues to work closely with dealer partners through sales programs, training, incentives, and operational support. “Our dealers are an important part of our success,” said Mr. Sayson. “We consider them partners, not simply distribution channels. When our dealers succeed, our customers benefit, and Jetour grows in a healthy and sustainable way.”
Jetour Auto Philippines also continues to strengthen its aftersales infrastructure through its dedicated Customer Care Center, which assists customers with vehicle inquiries, test drives, service appointments, and emergency support. Customers may reach Jetour’s Kendee Hotline at +63 917 5 Jetour (+63 917 5 538687), with messaging support available 24/7.
Aftersales Director Mr. Eryx S. Guiang emphasized that customer support remains central to the company’s growth: “Selling a vehicle is only the beginning of our relationship with a customer. Our responsibility continues throughout the ownership journey. We are investing in facilities, technicians, genuine parts, and customer support so that Jetour owners can have confidence in the service available to them.”
Jetour’s growing presence in the Philippine market has been supported by an active marketing and communications program led by Marketing Director Ms. May De Los Santos. The company’s marketing strategy combines digital communication, product education, customer programs, brand partnerships, and social media engagement to introduce Jetour to more Filipino consumers.
“Our approach is to let people understand what Jetour offers and, more importantly, what the brand represents,” Ms. De Los Santos said. “We want our communication to be informative, relevant, and connected to the everyday experiences of Filipino motorists.”
She also acknowledged the contribution of media partners, content creators, brand collaborators, and customers who have helped introduce Jetour to wider audiences: “We are grateful to the members of the media and our partners who have taken the time to understand our products and tell their audiences about them. We also value the customers who willingly share their own Jetour experiences. Their support has helped us reach people in a way that advertising alone cannot.”
Jetour also continues to invest in activities that bring owners and their families together. Off-road experiences, owner gatherings, and car-club drives have become part of the ownership experience. In September 2026, the company will hold its first Jetour Adventure Camp featuring a camping experience for T1 and T2 owners that will showcase the vehicles’ Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, alongside family-oriented activities and entertainment.
“We are grateful for where we are today,” said Mr. Jose. “But we know that the real measure of our success will be how we continue to serve our customers tomorrow. We will keep listening, keep improving, and keep working to make Jetour a brand that Filipino families can trust for many years to come.”
Its expanding presence now covers Metro Manila, Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, with new locations planned in key growth areas. As the network grows, UAAGI is strengthening after-sales support through its unified service infrastructure. Jetour dealerships are designed to provide a comprehensive customer experience, while the broader UAAGI network now comprises 126 unified dealerships nationwide, giving customers greater access to service and support.

BECAUSE OF ALL THE CHINA SUPPORTERS
ReplyDeleteSUPPORT SOUTH CHINA SEA ALSO IF YOURE BUYING CHINA CARS
What's BYD's year-to-date PHEV sales for comparison?
ReplyDeleteAs of April 2026, they reported around 13k units sold. We can assume that majority of its sales were PHEV (could be a 70-30 split). So, in that sense...
Deletehow can they assume that their brand is the best selling in terms of PHEV wherein you can see a lot of BYD DM-i on the road? @_@
ReplyDeleteJetour is part of CAMPI. Among CAMPI members, Jetour's the #1 selling PHEV brand. CAMPI members publish their sales figures on a monthly basis. BYD is part of AVID, they don't publish their monthly sales figures. No doubt they have more sales than Jetour that's for sure.
DeleteNever thought Jetour would be selling this much of cars. I believe they e overtaken Chinese automakers like BAIC, Geely, Lynk & Co. already thanks to their retro-futuristic design language.
ReplyDeleteAgree that BAIC and Lynk & Co. are trailing Jetour. However, Geely currently has two volume models (the EX2 and EX5 EM-i) and has been consistently hitting 800–900 units monthly sales (June and July). Meanwhile, Jetour has yet to surpass the 600-unit mark this year.
Deletehow is their after sales support? is there a resale value after 5 years?
ReplyDeleteI had experience their after sale support is very excellent.
DeleteEach car have it own value even after five years.
Base on Jetour Chery cars durability and its modern style, its will be high resale value, very much better than degrade design of old japenese cars.
Resale value will be low. Treat chinese cars as disposable assets and you'll be fine.
DeleteI can only comment for aftersales since we own 2 Jetours now. Aftersales has been great in our experience, since Jetour is part of UAAGI which is known to provide great aftersales and having parts availability on hand.
DeleteCan't comment yet on resale value since it's too early to tell
I'm barely seeing any jetour in my city
