Asia United Bank Offers Big Bike Deals at Makina Moto Show 2018

Wanting to buy that dream big bike? Asia United Bank (AUB), one of the fastest-growing publicly-listed banks in the Philippines can make that wish come true with the Makina Moto Show 2018 happening this weekend (May 19-20, 2018) at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The brainchild of Zach Lucero, this event will display the latest releases from the likes of Yamaha, Honda Prestige and Motortrade, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and BMW Motorrad. Joining them are Italian brands such as Moto Guzzi, Moto Morini, and Ducati; Harley-Davidson; Chinese maker CF Moto; and acclaimed brands such as Royal Enfield, Norton, KTM, and IMZ-Ural.

It will also feature the Moto Builds Pilipinas competition titled “Battle of the Champs,” where Filipino talent in motorcycle customization will be put on the spotlight. Motorcycle enthusiasts can also look forward to two debuts from Harley-Davidson Philippines and Kawasaki.

“Guests will witness a great number of custom creation entries varying from scramblers to café racers,” said Mr. Lucero, program director of Makina Moto Pilipinas Inc, of the two-day show that will be held at the Hall 1 of SMX Convention Center.

Naturally, the premium displays will be backed up by deals from the top suppliers of motorcycle parts and accessories.

And if you decide to buy your dream bike, AUB will offer the best deals through its Big Bike Loan program.

Available to both existing and potential AUB clients, the financing provides a loan amount of at least P 200,000 and flexible loan payment terms of 12 to 36 months. The loan facility applies to bikes with a minimum engine displacement of 400-cc.

To apply for a loan, one only needs to fill out an application form, show two valid government-issued ID, and present proof of income.

“Of the 1.6 million vehicles sold locally in 2017, only 2,500 were big bikes. It’s a largely untapped market that we want to serve, whether these are entrepreneurs or corporate executives who want to reward themselves with a sleek bike or seek to get serious in this hobby,” said Leo F. Intalan, senior vice-president and head of AUB’s Consumer Loans Group. “We’d like to be the partner of aspiring big bike owners who want to work hard and play harder with the mean machine of their choice.”

Last April 21-22, AUB also participated at the 24th Annual Convention of the National Federation of Motorcycle Clubs of the Philippines (NFMCP) held in Legazpi, Albay. The event involved a 50-kilometer “unity ride” from the Legazpi City Boulevard towards the Misibis Resort in Bacacay, and ending in the Mayon Skyline Park in Tabaco City.

Using an online loan application system, AUB promises same-day application response and approval whether one is located in Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao. The Bank has 247 branches nationwide where existing clients interested in availing of the Big Bike Loan and other auto loans can get exclusive deals.
