Honda Cars PH Assures Of Ample Inventory For 2022 Civic

Despite the on-going global semiconductor shortage, Honda Cars Philippines assures would-be Civic buyers that there will be ample supply of their beloved compact sedan to go around.

Speaking during the launch of the 11th generation Civic, Honda Cars Philippines spokesperson Atty. Louie Soriano says they expect an uptick in sales to around 170 to 200 units per month (they currently sell about 110 units monthly). With that, systems are in place to assure a constant supply of Civic units flowing into the country.

Atty. Soriano also clarified that the late arrival of the mid-grade Civic V Turbo CVT (ETA is around January 2022) isn’t due to the global semiconductor shortage. As with most new model introductions, Honda Cars Philippines simply concentrated on the top-spec Civic RS Turbo CVT first.

Separately, Atty. Soriano says Honda Cars Philippines has no plans to introduce any additional Civic variant, including the five-door hatchback nor e:HEV hybrid so far.

However, for those who’ve set their sights on the Civic V Turbo CVT, their patience will be rewarded as all reservations for the said variant until the end of the year and for release by January 31, 2022 would get a free Modulo trunk tray and exhaust pipe finisher. This package is worth P 5,991.

In addition, Honda Cars Philippines is offering the Platinum White Pearl color at no additional cost for all variants until November 30, 2021.

  1. There's really no accounting for taste for Wigo-level trolls like you, go enjoy the unneeded AWD on your overpriced, high-maintenance wagon on stilts soft roader.

    1. He abhors ADAS features yet complimented the new Civic. I seriously doubt he really owns such vehicles. More like an entry level car owner to me.

  2. I've seen better trolling from pre-teens in youtube or fb, this guy is just mentally-ill & pathologically obsessed for some creepy reason. Same psych level & chromosome count as Richard Joa$$ Tan.

  3. If the RS sits at 1.69m, I really hope they bring in the Si Manual and slot it in between the V and RS trims.

    1. No chance. Why would a higher variant be priced lower than a lower-end variant? The transmission would even be more expensive due to a smaller volume of production.
