Look: Stocks Of All-New Honda BR-V Have Arrived

Following its preview at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is ready to launch the all-new BR-V in the country. After first announcing its November 21 launch date, HCPI showed that the first units of the 7-seater SUV are now on Philippine shores.

Along with a photo showing rows upon rows of the BR-V (hope you like it either in Tafetta White or Premium Opal White Silver), HCPI also revealed some of the key features of their much-awaited SUV.

Aside from its stronger, more aggressive styling that commands an even better road presence, the BR-V promises MPV-like value with better leg- and headroom across all three rows of seats. Moreover, it comes with a One-Touch Tumble second row seats and a Dive Down Mechanism for its third row seats.

Functionality aside, the BR-V arrives with available leather seats (V and VX variants) or high-grade fabric (S). Also in a model first, the 2023 BR-V comes with a seat height adjuster across all variants to accommodate a wide range of driver body types. Furthermore, it boasts of technology such as a 7-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Remote Engine Start.

The BR-V is powered by a 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine with a maximum output of 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. Its new CVT gearbox also delivers better fuel efficiency and acceleration response.

Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line VX variant comes with Honda SENSING. The advanced safety suite reduces the risks of accidents by bundling technology such as:
  • Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS)
  • Auto-High Beam (AHB)
  • Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
  • Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN)
  • Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW)
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF)
This is on top of standard features such as speed-sensing door locks, dual and side airbags, reverse camera with guidelines, ABS with EBD, and vehicle stability assist. The VX variant further adds side curtain airbags and even a LaneWatch blind spot camera. Walk Away Auto Lock is available for the V and VX, while the Remote Engine Start is available for the S CVT, V, and VX variants.

“We are excited to share news of the arrival of our stocks of the All-New BR-V. We are ready for launch and looking forward to reaching out to more Filipino families and being part of their journeys. With its design and features, the all-new Honda BR-V will bring the SUV experience of customers to the next level” said Mr. Masahiko Nakamura, President of HCPI.

    1. No full specs yet. But...they've been hinting as to what the TOTL BR-V is getting (yes, I know, they're kinda late already).
