Nissan Philippines Upgrades Terra VE 4x2 For 2024. Now At P 1.969M

Nissan Philippines has introduced some new comfort and convenience upgrades to the Terra this 2024 at no additional cost for an additional P 80,000.

As a refresher, the Terra underwent a mid-cycle refresh in 2021. Although all variants did receive the new aesthetic upgrades, the VE had to stick with rear drums and a hand-type parking brake. That is, until now.

Priced still at P 1,889,000, at P 1,969,000 the entry-level automatic variant of the Terra, the Terra VE 4x2 now gets rear disc brakes along with an electronic parking brake. These features match those found in the Terra VL and Terra Sport.

Those changes aside, the Terra VE also receives more Nissan Intelligent Mobility features such as blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. This is on top of the Terra VE’s standard Intelligent Rearview Mirror, Intelligent Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and 360-degree camera (Intelligent Around View Monitor) with Moving Object Detection.

Mechanically, the Terra VE shares the YD25DDTi with the rest of the Terra line-up. This means it is good for 190 horsepower at 3,600 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. The transmission remains a 7-speed automatic with cruise control.

The 2024 Nissan Terra is now available at all Nissan dealerships nationwide.

    1. Yeah. When we wrote this, the Nissan website wasn't updated yet. We've corrected the story to reflect the price increase.

  3. I assume it also gets the Terra VL's front disc brakes? I believe the VL's front discs are the largest in its class. 17in rims will not fit the Terra VL, but will fit the VE and EL with smaller front rotor discs. I also hope the Navara gets these brakes as well, especially since it is a pickup that will be carrying heavy loads.

    1. No word on the size. But the Terra does have 18s as standard so no clearance issues there.

  4. Is it true the terra will be discontinued production?

    1. I remember reading that somewhere, but support shouldn't be an issue in the foreseeable future. The Nissan Juke was discontinued a while back, but I can still order parts for it at the Nissan casa.
