The event, envisioned to be a grand public event, will mark the brand’s formal debut in the country. Open to members of the public, the launch will offer Filipino consumers their first opportunity to experience the Xpeng brand and learn more about the company's vision for intelligent mobility.

Xpeng also confirmed that it will operate in the Philippines through Xpeng Philippines, its direct subsidiary. As the company's national sales and marketing organization, Xpeng Philippines will oversee the brand's local sales, marketing, distribution, and retail operations, reinforcing a long-term commitment to the Philippine market.

The September launch will also mark the Philippine debut of two models, the Xpeng X9 and the Xpeng L03.

The Xpeng X9, is the brand's flagship intelligent seven-seater that showcases its vision of intelligent mobility through executive-class comfort, AI-powered technologies, and a premium cabin designed for modern families, business leaders, and tech-forward professionals.

Complementing the lineup is the Xpeng L03, an intelligent SUV coupe that brings together contemporary design, AI-powered innovation, and software-defined mobility to deliver a smarter, more intuitive driving experience for today's modern professionals.

Additional details on the Philippine specifications, variants, pricing, and availability of both models will be announced during the official launch.

However, based on filings made with the Department of Energy, Xpeng will offer both models in both pure battery electric and plug-in hybrid (range extended electric vehicle) options.

Based on its homologation papers, the Xpeng X9 will come in at least three BEV variants—the Standard Range, Long Range, and Long Range AWD Performance variants. The Standard Range BEV offers 347 horsepower and is powered by a 94.87 kWh battery, while the Long Range BEV has a 110 kWh battery. The AWD Performance, on the other hand, has 537 horsepower thanks to its dual electric motors. Meanwhile, the REEV variant has a 63.29 kWh battery and a 285 horsepower electric motor.

Meanwhile, the Xpeng L03 will come in two BEV variants, the Standard Range Plus and the Long Range Plus. The Standard Range Plus offers a 249 horsepower electric motor and a 56.11-kWh battery, while the Long Range has 245 horsepower and a 69.04 kWh battery. The solitary REEV version has a 37.21 kWh battery with an onboard 92 horsepower gas generator.
