This Special Edition 3.0-liter Isuzu mu-X is Now Priced Close to the RZ4E Variant

The I Love Isuzu campaign is in full swing and one of the special offers on hand is with the Isuzu mu-X Luxe. Introduced in February of last year, there are still a limited number of units up for grabs. To make it more enticing, Isuzu Philippines Corporation is slashing the price of this specially-equipped SUV.

While supplies last, Isuzu is giving a P 180,000 discount on the mu-X Luxe, bringing the price down to just P 1,665,000 making it more affordable than the regular 3.0 LS-A 4x2 A/T and just P 60,000 more than the smaller-engined RZ4E LS-A 4x2 A/T.

The mu-X Luxe is powered by a 3.0-liter 4JJ1-TCX engine making 177 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. This is mated to a 6-speed automatic, with power routed through the rear wheels.

Representing the highest trim variant of the mu-X 4x2 line, the mu-X Luxe gets a unique shade: Red Spinel that’s complimented by light gray overfenders.

Inside, it features a blue illuminated scuff plate and a 3D surround sound system along with leather seats with a quilt-stitch pattern. It also gets a power tailgate system for hassle-free cargo loading. It’s fitted with an obstruction detection system and programmable height adjustment.

  1. Should they just make the Luxe variant as a new top of the line to the range rather than being a special edition model? And they should add more colors to the existing red color of the mu-X Luxe.

    1. Yes, you are right. I like Isuzu but I don't like red. Unfortunately that is the only color available that is why I am still out the looking for better option.

  2. In my opinion car maker should slash prices once a certain car model make it good in the market to compete with other carmaker I suggest 20 percent discount every six months around 500 unit and check after a year and you will see Metro Manila and nearby cities or around the country streets is flooded with Isuzu mux car model thanks

  8. In terms of durability, Toyota is no. 1. Even Honda confirms that. Isuzu cars are the best in engine noise.
