Confirmed: Nissan Philippines Is Launching e-Power Technology
It looks like Nissan Philippines will be upping their electrification game with the direct confirmation that e-Power, the brand’s sort-of-hybrid system, is heading into the country. The announcement was made no less than by Atsushi Najima, president of Nissan Philippines.

Nissan PH Could Replace the Aging Juke with the 2020 Kicks e-Power
The refreshed 2020 Nissan Kicks has been globally launched in Thailand. Together with the sharper look, the sub-compact SUV also brings with it a new engine: e-Power, Nissan’s extended range EV drive. With that, it brings all the advantages of fully-electric drive with no range anxiety. It also has a much more affordable price tag than the Nissan Leaf to boot.

Currently, Nissan is shifting its EV education campaign into high gear likely because of the impending launch of its first all-electric vehicle locally, the Leaf. Will This Replace the Nissan Juke?
For all intents and purposes, you are looking at the Nissan Juke’s future replacement: meet the Kicks. Sounding like something only millenials could name, the Kicks isn’t a pair of sneakers. Instead, it’s an all-new small crossover designed for the global market. In fact, at its launch in Brazil, Nissan has confirmed that it will sell the Kicks in around 80 markets worldwide. Will the Philippines be a part of that? With left-hand drive assembly confirmed, that sounds very likely.
