So the world gets an all-new Toyota Supra. Yay. Hurray. Nothing to see here, so move along. After countless concept cars, teases, spy shots, unintentional reveals, and all—I’m pretty underwhelmed at the final result. Sure, some of us will get a kick out of some 1990s nostalgia, but that’s all the all-new Supra really is: nostalgia. It’s the JDM New Beetle, honestly.

The Toyota Supra is Back. Sort Of. (w/ 19 Photos, Video)
The celebrated Toyota Supra is back, sort of. Shown at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show, Toyota finally confirms that the Supra badge is back and affixed to a high-performance sportscar co-developed with BMW. The racing concept, dubbed the GR (Gazoo Racing) Supra Racing Concept, it revives the heritage of one of Toyota’s famous sportscars.

2019 Toyota Supra to Be Offered with Both Turbo 4-Cylinder and 6-Cylinder Engines
The Goodwood Festival of Speed has come and gone and people were slightly disappointed that they didn’t see the 2019 Toyota Supra in all its glory. Yes, it did do the hill climb, but it was still sporting the geometric camouflage, so a bit of a bummer there. UPDATE 2: The 2020 Supra has been teased by Toyota Motor Philippines (6/8).
UPDATE: The original Facebook post has now been taken down, and we have also been requested to do the same (6/2).
It looks like Toyota Motor Philippines is serious about adding a strong dose of sportiness to their line-up. After the 86, it seems the largest carmaker in the country will be introducing its new halo sportscar, the Toyota Supra as well.
