Hyundai Breaks Ground For Tacloban Dealership; Opens Pop-Up Store In Robinsons North Tacloban

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) continues to broaden its horizons with the recent inauguration of the new Hyundai pop-up store at Robinsons North Tacloban. On the same day, a ceremonial site groundbreaking of the Hyundai Tacloban dealership also took place along National Highway, Palo, Leyte.

Key executives of HMPH, Mr. Dongwook Lee, President, and Mr. Cecil Capacete, Managing Director were among those in attendance. This event also formally introduced the partnership with Topcars Autoworld Corporation, who will be leading the Hyundai Tacloban dealership. Its representatives Mr. Willard Chan, President, Mr. Ryan Lindbergh Chan, Managing Director, and Ms. Charlene Lesley Chan, Chief Finance Officer also graced both ceremonies.

Being the most populated city in Eastern Visayas, Tacloban serves as a prime location for Hyundai to further its reach and showcase its innovative mobility solutions. The city also offers a promising market for locals to discover Hyundai and its diverse range of vehicles. This is especially as Tacloban is one of the major transportation and distributing centers in Eastern Visayas. In line with the brand’s vision of “Progress for Humanity”, Hyundai continues expanding its network, to connect with more Filipinos across the country.

HMPH Managing Director, Mr. Cecil Capacete expressed his gratitude to Topcars Autoworld Corporation: “Aside from the latest technology we bring, what truly sets Hyundai apart from its competitors is our genuine care for our customers. In selecting our dealer partners, we make sure that our values resonate with the winning candidate. We only entrust the brand to those who we believe have the heart to extend the dedicated service that our consumers deserve. Through Topcars Autoworld Corporation, HMPH is confident that the City of Tacloban will be able to fully experience and enjoy the Hyundai brand.”
