Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), the country’s leading truck manufacturer and distributor, showcased its legacy of reliability, innovation, and customer commitment at the inaugural Philippine International Truck Show (PITS), happening from October 22 to 24, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
With a truck-making heritage spanning more than a century, Isuzu has continuously developed commercial vehicles designed to perform under demanding operating conditions. From small businesses and last-mile delivery operations to large-scale logistics, construction, and public transportation, Isuzu trucks have become trusted partners in moving goods, supporting livelihoods, and keeping the Philippine economy moving.
At this year’s PITS, Isuzu celebrated this heritage while demonstrating its commitment to evolving with the changing needs of Filipino businesses.
Leading the display was the best-selling Isuzu Traviz, presented in its new Mercury Silver body color and equipped with a Utility Van body built by Almazora Motors Corporation, one of the country’s established commercial vehicle body builders.
Designed for entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises, and logistics operators, the Traviz combines maneuverability, durability, and excellent cargo-carrying capability, making it an ideal partner for everyday business operations.
Powered by Isuzu’s proven 2.5-liter 4JA1 Blue Power diesel engine, the Traviz delivers a maximum power output of 78 horsepower at 3,900 rpm and maximum torque of 176.5 Nm at 1,800 rpm, providing dependable pulling power and fuel-efficient performance for daily commercial operations. And with a maximum payload capacity of up to 1,660 kilograms, it allows businesses to transport more goods in fewer trips, helping improve delivery efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Taking center stage at the Isuzu Pavilion was the Isuzu N-Series EV Concept Truck, offering visitors a glimpse into the potential future of electric commercial transportation.
The fully battery-electric concept truck features a 100-kWh battery capacity and an estimated driving range of approximately 299 kilometers under specified operating conditions, demonstrating the potential application of battery-electric technology in commercial delivery operations.
As businesses and industries explore ways to improve operational efficiency and reduce their environmental impact, battery-electric trucks represent one possible solution for selected transportation requirements, particularly operations with predictable routes and suitable charging infrastructure.
The N-Series EV Concept Truck reflects Isuzu’s broader multi-pathway approach to future mobility, recognizing that different industries, customers, and operating environments require different powertrain solutions.
Rather than relying on a single technology, Isuzu continues to explore various mobility solutions while maintaining its commitment to the proven reliability and efficiency of its existing diesel-powered commercial vehicle lineup.
The N-Series EV is presented as a concept display for technology demonstration and market exploration, with no confirmed plans for local commercial introduction at this time.
