Watch The Philippine Reveal Of The 2022 Nissan Terra On September 1

The wait is almost over. Mark those calendars and clear those appointments as Nissan Philippines is finally launching the much-awaited 2022 Terra on September 1, 2021 at 5 PM. Interested in seeing its reveal? You can click here.

The refreshed 2022 Terra is expected to benefit from a raft of changes.

Outside, it carries Nissan’s new SUV design philosophy with a larger, more upright grille, redesigned bumpers, C-shaped quad LED headlights, and two-tone 18-inch wheels. Inside, the interior’s made much more upscale with better materials.

Based on previous teasers, the Philippine-spec Terra will have a segment-first 8-speaker Bose sound system and a 7-inch advanced drive-assist TFT screen nestled in the gauges, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a segment-first 8-speaker Bose sound system. It will also continue to have a flip-up rear entertainment screen with HDMI inputs.

Mechanically, the Terra is expected to continue on with the same 2.5-liter YD25DDTi engine shared with the Navara (190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque), but acoustic front glass should make it quieter than before.

The Terra is also expected to carry the full suite of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features such as intelligent emergency braking, intelligent forward collision warning, blind spot warning, lane departure warning, blind spot indicators with rear cross traffic alert, a 360-degree camera, and a camera-based intelligent rear-view mirror.

  1. Its doesnt have an automatic tailgate even on the 4x4 variant as compared to the TH model and no adaptive cruise control. Safety features wise, looks competitive though
