Foton PH Turns Over Brand-New Vehicles To Olympic Medalists Diaz And Paalam

Recognizing the triumphant history made by Filipino Olympic heroes, Hidilyn Diaz and Carlo Paalam, Foton Motor Philippines Inc. (FMPI) officially turned over to them the new commercial vehicles as a reward for their utmost dedication to bring glory to the country.

“As Hidilyn lifted the 127 kilograms that set a new world record and brought home the gold, and as Carlo boxed his way to an Olympic silver, the entire Philippines was also lifted to a level that has never before been reached. Now, allow us to be the ones to protect and carry you through our Foton TransVan and Gratour MT,” said FMPI President Rommel Sytin.

As pledged by the brand, the Philippines’ first ever Olympic Gold Medalist Hidalyn Diaz delightfully received the Foton TransVan 13-seater. As Diaz mentioned, the unit will be used for her many tours and trainings. It could also be utilized for her family trips and serve as a service vehicle for her team's athletic training and drives.

Meanwhile, Olympic silver medal-winning boxer Carlo Paalam was also awarded with a commercial vehicle, a brand new Foton Gratour MPV 16-seater, which he mentioned will be used to boost the mobility of his family’s business in their province.

The Gratour MT MPV 16-seater is a reliable vehicle with cargo-convertible seats that are ergonomically designed to fit loads of deliverables, products or parcels with its 1.2-ton payload capacity. It can be configured for a wide-array of usage that’s perfect for SMEs.

“We are aware of how essential transportation is, especially now in the time of the pandemic. Not everyone is granted wheels that can safely and comfortably bring you from point A to point B. Our company believes that you, our Olympic Medalists, have already experienced tough challenges, and we don’t want you facing another one when it comes to mobility,” exclaims Sytin.

Foton Motor Philippines Inc. rewarded the new athlete-heroes to show its support to sportsmen and women of all sporting disciplines.
