After releasing it as a limited engagement model at the Philippine International Motor Show, Ford Philippines has announced that the Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 is now a permanent addition to its line-up.
Since its launch in October, the market reception for this all-go, all-show Ranger Raptor was so overwhelming that it became one of Ford Philippines’ best-selling vehicles. More importantly, it became a personal favorite of newly-installed Ford Philippines managing director, Pedro Simoes.
“Due to the overwhelming demand from our customers, we are excited to announce that the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 will now be a permanent addition to our performance vehicle portfolio,” shares Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines. “The Raptor 3.0 V6 is a personal favorite, and I can’t wait for more customers to experience its exceptional power and unmatched versatility.”
The Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 comes with a twin-turbo EcoBoost gasoline engine delivering 397 horsepower and 583 Nm of torque. Mated to a 10-speed automatic, it enables performance on and off-road. Its class-exclusive electronically-controlled active exhaust also delivers either a mild or wild character.
More than just the engine, this particular Ranger Raptor is the only variant to come with the Ford Performance-developed Fox 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shock absorbers. Its advanced permanent four-wheel drive system comes with an electronically-controlled on-demand two-speed transfer case as well as front and rear locking differentials.
Finally, the Ranger Raptor’s MyMode “R” button allows drivers to personalize everything from steering to suspension, exhaust mode, or engine auto stop/start activation, through to the four-wheel drive mode and even whether the rear electronic differential should be on or off. Drivers can choose their preferred engine exhaust sound, steering feel, and suspension damping by pressing a button on the steering wheel or by selecting a drive mode.
“The enhanced availability of the Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 for Filipino customers further expands the Raptor brand in the country, complementing the Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel Engine. Pickup enthusiasts now have the option to choose which Raptor pickup truck suits their needs and lifestyles,” adds Simoes.
The Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6 is available at P 2,739,000, inclusive of a 5-year warranty. Customers can choose it in Arctic White, Absolute Black, Blue Lightning, Command Grey and Code Orange (additional P 15,000).

DeleteAnd Expedition EcoBoost V6.
DeleteWell, Explorer and Expedition are just specifically developed for North American markets, and also, those SUVs are deeply known for reliability problems until today.
DeleteWhat does that have to do with the OG's post? He said it's the first V6-engined Ford to be sold in the PH since the Escape. Me and sir Uly merely corrected you/him.
