Volvo, now distributed by Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) is bringing its latest model, the EX30 to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig City. The EX30, together with the EC40 will be on display at the Bonifaco High Street Globe Under the Bridge from January 24 to 27, 2025.
Launched in November of last year, the EX30 is Volvo’s model with the lowest carbon footprint. Its total carbon footprint is below 30 tons over 200,000 kilometers—a 75 percent reduction compared to other Volvo electric models.
This starts with collaborating with suppliers, 95 percent of whom are committed to using 100 percent renewable energy by 2025. From there, the EX30 uses recycled materials including 25 percent of its aluminum and 17 percent of its steel. Additionally, 17 percent of the plastics and renewable materials like denim, flax, and a wool blend containing 70 percent recycled polyester are used.
Volvo also employs blockchain technology to trace critical raw materials such as lithium and cobalt, ensuring responsible sourcing. And at its end of life, it’s 95 percent recyclable, minimizing waste and maximizing material use.
Optimized production through high material utilization in stamped body parts marks the EX30 as one of Volvo’s most efficient manufacturing achievements.
The Volvo EX30 proves that every step matters—not only for the journey, but also for the legacy it leaves behind.
Priced at P 2,990,000, the EX30 delivers exceptional value as a fully-electric premium sub-compact SUV. Aside from its display at the BGC, it can also be viewed at Volvo Makati, Ground Floor, UDC Building, 2272 Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City.
So Hyundai distributes Volvo in the Philippines? Awesome, isn't it? But however, I honestly think that it takes years for Filipinos to embrace Volvos just as when there's already Team Japan (Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda etc.) for example.
ReplyDeleteVolvo's been in the Philippine market for 31
Deleteyears 🤣
Mazda's been in and out of the Philippine market multiple times 🤣
Your so-called Team Japan mostly sell outdated low quality vehicles meant for poor 3rd world markets 🤣
Volvo has been around for almost 30 years here but under very poor manage team. But with Hari, hopefully it will see its full potential
ReplyDeleteHariphil also distributes Chevrolet in PH, also in the latter, Mercedes-Benz is under Inchcape, BMW with San Miguel and Peugeot with Astara.
DeleteNewsflash: The same person is still calling the shots at HARI and Volvo’s former management.
DeleteSmaller and more expensive than Tesla model Y... who would be crazy to buy this? Hariphil should forget about their thick profits if they want a slice of the market. Geely should be releasing their EVs soon I hope they think carefully how they price them.
ReplyDeleteTrue true
