All-New Subaru WRX, Levorg Expected in 2020; To Have Smaller Turbo Engines
Subaru is busying migrating its entire product line-up to its stiffer, safer, more capable Subaru Global Platform. Of course, enthusiasts are holding their breath as to when the WRX and WRX STI will be getting the same treatment. Well, it seems with have the answer now. But sadly, you’ll have to wait your breath a little bit longer: late 2020 is the earliest the world will see the next iteration of a go-fast Subaru.

The death of the turbocharged Forester has left a gaping hole in the hearts of car enthusiasts everywhere. Where now can we get our daily adrenaline fix while still being able to justify to our wives or girlfriends that “it’s practical; it just so happens to be fast too?” Well, don’t fear, because that very same reasoning applies to the 2019 Subaru Levorg 2.0 GT-S. It’s one practical car; it just so happens to be fast too.

Motor Image Pilipinas outlined its 2018 plans which includes the introduction of new vehicles and safety technologies. After a banner 2017 with more than 3,200 vehicles sold (including a 200-percent sales increase for the Subaru XV), the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country has announced the Philippine arrival of Subaru EyeSight along with the refreshed Legacy and Outback, all-new Forester, and the Levorg 2.0 DIT.

Subaru has just announced a “big minor change” for its sports wagon, the Levorg. Going on sale starting this August (in Japan at least), the 2018 Levorg offers refreshed aesthetics, improved levels of riding comfort and quietness, and better safety.

Subaru to Hike Prices of Core Models in the Philippines
The continued weakening of the Philippine Peso is forcing Motor Image Pilipinas, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country to implement a price increase on selected models. The price increase will affect its core models: the Subaru XV, Forester, and Levorg beginning January 1, 2017.

Review: 2016 Subaru Levorg 1.6 GT-S
Frankly, it’s hard to classify what the Subaru Levorg is. Subaru calls it a compact sports tourer which is marketing speak for: We can’t decide if it’s a compact car, a sports sedan, or a wagon, so we’ll just blend it all together. And true enough, the recipe of the Levorg is largely that: a front-end shared with the WRX, a dashboard similar to that of an XV, and the trunk space comparable to that of a Forester. And while this amalgam of Legacy + Revolution + Touring sounds as disastrous as “Aldub”, the resulting car is actually quite good. It’s excellent. It’s a gamble that’s paid off handsomely for Subaru.

Subaru Levorg Goes to Europe and this Dramatically Increases the Chance of Seeing It Here
After saying that its Levorg (essentially a WRX wagon) will remain a Japanese Domestic Model (JDM), Subaru has officially revealed that they will now start to sell it in Europe. Proof? The Japanese car company has revealed their show outline for the upcoming 85th Geneva International Motor Show and one of them is the Levorg. It will be shown with European specifications for the very first time.
