No Price Increase For Chery Auto PH

Chery Auto Philippines is holding its planned price increase for the third time.

“The ones who want a Chery shall have a Chery—and we hope that the thousands of pesos that they could save from this program can make things light and easy,” said Chery Auto Philippines Rommel Sytin.

Despite the price hike declarations of major automotive brands in the country, Chery Auto Philippines shows no signs of following their lead as it confirmed the extension of its No Price Increase offering for May.

Since March, Chery Auto Philippines has been prolonging its absorption of the price increase from the imposed provisional Safeguard Duty by the Bureau of Customs.

To date, the full-crossover line up retains its pre-Safeguard Tariff prices:
  • Tiggo 2 M/T - P 695,000
  • Tiggo 2 A/T - P 770,000
  • Tiggo 2 A/T Two-Tone - P 785,000
  • Tiggo 5x M/T - P 818,000
  • Tiggo 5x A/T - P 860,000
  • Tiggo 5x A/T Luxury - P 970,000
  • Tiggo 7 Pro A/T - P 1,198,000
  • Tiggo 8 A/T Luxury - P 1,280,000
  • Tiggo 8 A/T Luxury EX - P 1,340,000
Since the car brand was launched in 2019, the introductory SRP stood still except for the 2021 Tiggo 5x A/T Luxury which recently received an aesthetic upgrade evident with its new alloy wheel design, additional rear speakers, and rear air-conditioning vents just in time for the summer.

Apart from the No Price Increase program, Chery is also on a roll in bringing sales promos via low down payment, low monthly amortization, and exclusive cash discounts that apply to all Tiggo variants in Chery dealerships nationwide. Promo includes monthly amortizations as low as P 6,314.

In terms of aftersales services, Chery Auto Philippines is known for its first-in-the-industry warranties inclusive of 10-year or 1,000,000 kilometer engine warranty, 5-year or 150,000-kilometer general vehicle warranty, 3-year roadside assistance, and free preventive maintenance service for three years.

“We will continue to make the Chery experience exceptional from pre-sale, actual purchase, service, and even customer relations. We are not stopping,” noted Sytin.
