Is the All-New Ford Puma a Preview of the 2020 EcoSport SUV?
For “Kids of the 90’s,” they’ll remember a sporty coupe called the Puma. Sold in Europe by Ford, the Puma was basically the Fiesta in a sexier dress. Introduced in 1997, it was discontinued five years later. Well, 17 years later, the Puma is back, but this time it dismisses its sporty coupe lineage to become Ford’s newest baby crossover.

Ford Lied About Transmission Problems, Passed Blame to Customers

Review: 2019 Ford EcoSport 1.0 EcoBoost Titanium
Let’s talk about the Ford EcoSport. When it first came out in 2014, it was a refreshing thing—a sub-compact runabout that fits well in the Manila urban jungle. It was, for all intents and purposes, the automotive equivalent of American Fast Food: tasty, if not particularly high-quality or nutritious. And just whenever the first-ever McDonald’s or if you prefer, Jollibee opens in a small town, people fell in line for this Ford; caught hook, line, and sinker with the promise that it’ll be a Happy Meal on wheels.

First Drive: 2019 Ford EcoSport 1.0 Titanium and 1.5 Trend
As the segment’s first-ever sub-compact SUV, the Ford EcoSport had potential written all over it. It could have been a lot of things to a lot of people. However, in the four years it’s been in the market, it remained a fashion piece—one that didn’t come backed up by the driving chops to win hardcore buyers over.

UPDATED: 2019 Ford EcoSport to Arrive by End of August?
UPDATE: The official launch story is here (8/29).
During the first week of August, Ford Philippines announced the extension of discounts on the EcoSport, Ranger, and Everest. Sifting through the promo details reveal one peculiar thing: the promotion, particularly for the EcoSport ends on August 23. As promotions go, that’s a pretty odd date to end it (typically it’s at the middle or end of every month) so naturally, it got us thinking: is Ford Philippines about to introduce a refreshed EcoSport?

Ford Philippines Confirms 7 New Models to Arrive in 2018

It marks the best year ever for the American carmaker. This year, Ford aims to continue that stellar growth by launching not one, not two, but seven new vehicles for the Philippine market.
