7 Things Toyota Motor Philippines Revealed about the Camry Buyer
The all-new 2019 Toyota Camry has been officially launched (see full specs and details here). The country’s first taste of the new Toyota New Global Architecture or TNGA, it promises to excite the large (or in our terms, executive) sedan market. That being said, it competes in a segment that’s facing irrelevance thanks to the shift towards mid-sized SUVs and crossovers. We managed to sit down with Toyota Motor Philippines’s marketing and product people to find out how they plan to turn the tide with the 8th-generation Camry.

How Much Has the Toyota Camry Changed in 15 Years?
Bold and modern — these are two words that best describe the 2019 Toyota Camry. As the brand’s iconic executive sedan, the Camry has withstood the test of time in terms of delivering both luxury and performance throughout the generations. But just how much has it evolved? For this review, we had the privilege of bonding with the current 2019 model and also taking a trip down memory lane to revisit its predecessor—15 years prior, to be exact, to the year when the big-body design was the talk of the town.

UPDATED: 2012 Toyota Camry Spotted at BKK Show, Possible PHL Specs Leaked
UPDATE: Yes, we've finally confirmed a launch date of the all-new Camry. It will happen on Thursday, April 26. Again, if you want to follow us during the launch event, make sure you follow us on twitter: http://www.twitter.com/carguideph/
Guess what we saw the Bangkok International Motor Show: the 2012 Toyota Camry. Recently unveiled for the local Thai market, this is the best indication of how the Philippine model will shape up once it's unveiled in the second quarter of this year. And a look down through the specs reveal one surprising thing: there's no more V6 at least for the Thai market.
Well, it's not THAT surprising considering the price of gasoline. However, what's even more surprising is that the Philippines is set to continue its three-model line-up which includes a 3.5-liter V6. This means you'll see the 2012 Camry in three flavors: 2.5 G, 2.5 V and 3.5 Q
For the Philippine market however, a query with our local Toyota dealership reveals that the Camry will still retain the 3.5-liter V6 and we probably won't see the entrance of the hybrid model just yet. This means that the Camry will retain its three-model line-up: 2.5 G, 2.5 V and 3.5 Q.

2017 NAIAS: 2018 Toyota Camry Promises More Excitement (w/ 11 Photos)
If there’s one constant criticism leveled against the Toyota Camry is that it’s the automotive equivalent of vanilla ice cream. Though it’s been stylistically been more aggressive in the past few generations, try as Toyota has, it’s still too dull behind the wheel. Well, that’s all about to change as the Camry migrates over to the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) which is poised to inject some driving fun into Toyota’s executive sedan.

First Drive: 2022 Toyota Camry 2.5 HEV
The Camry has always been a barometer of sorts for Toyota; and each of the Camry generations’ incremental improvements over the years show that the carmaker has almost always leaned on evolution, rather than revolution when it came to their products. But recently, a new kind of thinking has taken over the typically conservative Japanese carmaker. This has resulted in the most advanced, most thoroughly thought-of Camry ever. And surprisingly? It’s technically a refresh.

Review: 2022 Toyota Camry 2.5 HEV
They say familiarity breeds contempt, but the truth is that the Toyota Camry is far too ubiquitous even for that. It’s invisible. It blends into the very concrete that paves the parking lots, especially when you get one in silver or gray. It’s the perfect automotive camouflage.
