The BYD Atto 2 EV Is Coming To The Philippines

Whoa. If the arrival of the Sealion 5 DM-i isn’t enough of a deathblow to other Chinese brands, particularly those competing in the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) space, BYD Cars Philippines has just received LTO certification for yet another entry-level SUV: the Atto 2.

GAC Motor is dropping the prices of its entire line-up this May to make car ownership accessible to more people. Apart from the wide range of discounts—as much as P 300,000 in some cases—low down payment options and flexible payment plans are also available.

2026 Mitsubishi Xpander Is Safer Than Ever

It what could be its final refresh before the all-new model bows in, Mitsubishi Motors has given its Xpander MPV (as well as its SUV derivative, the Xpander Cross) some minor changes for the 2026 model year.

The VinFast VF 6 Could Use Some More Work

No more going around in circles or squares outside malls or test drive events. They brought the VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9 for a day drive from their showroom in EDSA-Ortigas to Tagaytay. Since there are too many people and cars, I decided to focus on their newest offering: the VF 6.

It looks great, handles even greater. Everyone who loves driving will be enamored by the Mazda3. Six years on, it’s still the definitive compact sedan/hatchback out there, flaws and all (read our 2019 Mazda 3.0 Sportback review and 2024 Mazda3 2.0 HEV Fastback review). If anything, the only thing it lacks is a proper sporty variant. Although you could counter that its sportiness is inherently baked into the four variants you could get straight from the showroom floor, being JDM, a part of you wishes Mazda would offer something along the “tuner” line. After all, if Toyota could do it with Gazoo Racing Sport (GR Sport) and Honda with Road Sailing (RS), why couldn’t Mazda?

There Are Now More Than 10,000 BYDs In The Philippines

BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, has reached a milestone in its electrification journey by delivering its 10,000th vehicle in the country. The milestone model, a BYD eMax 7, the brand’s full-electric Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), was purchased and turned over to Adrian Goh, a tech industry executive, last April 30.

Toyota Motor Philippines is bringing back the thrill of street racing this Saturday, May 24 to Sunday, May 25 for Race Weekend 2 of the 2025 Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Cup (TGR Philippine Cup). Hyundai Motor PH Is Launching The Refreshed Creta (Including The N Line Variant) Before The End Of May

After its ASEAN debut in Indonesia early this year, the refreshed Hyundai Creta will finally be making its way to the Philippines. The wait won’t be long as Hyundai Motor Philippines confirmed that it’ll be launching before the end of the month.

JMC Philippines, under the Astara Group, is offering their pickup trucks with flexible plans through June. The Vigus and Grand Avenue can be had with either a low down payment or low month payments.

Omoda & Jaecoo has officially opened its newest dealership located in Tagum City, Davao del Norte. This marks the brand’s first showroom in Mindanao, and fifth nationwide.
