Chevrolet has thoroughly reworked the cabin of the Corvette sportscar for 2026, removing one of the most controversial aspects of its design in the process.
Gone is the “button wall”—a vertical row of buttons that separate the driver and passenger area. Instead, the cabin now receives a new three-screen layout with a 12.7-inch center console display, a 14-inch digital gauge cluster, and a 6.6-inch auxiliary display. The graphics and animations have been updated for 2026 as well.
The decision to add more screens means a redesign of the center console. For 2026, the drive mode selector has been redesigned and relocated in line with the gear selector. In its place, a new wireless charging pad is integrated below the infotainment screen, with a cover to keep the phone in place. There’s also a larger (and lit) volume knob.
The climate controls have been repositioned under the center display, creating a more open environment between driver and passenger and enabling space for an integrated passenger grab handle. The passenger side also adds a new USB Type C port placed below the grab handle.
Finally, there are new cupholders complete with ambient lighting and the signature Corvette crossed flags at the bottom.
As an available option, Chevrolet is taking a page from Ferrari’s playbook and is offering the Corvette with an asymmetrical interior colorway. When optioned, it has the driver’s side—from the dash to the center console and seats—covered in Adrenaline Red, while the rest is in Jet Black. Would-be buyers can even option asymmetrical colored seats.
Other changes to the 2026 Corvette include a new electrochromic roof that can change the tint level of the targa roof glass at the press of a button.
Engine options for the Corvette remain unchanged for 2026. It starts with the Z06 which is powered by the world’s most powerful naturally-aspirated V8. The 5.5-liter flat plane crank V8 makes 670 horsepower and screams to 8,600 rpm. The E-Ray, meanwhile offers electric all-wheel drive paired with Chevrolet’s Small Block V8 with 655 horsepower (combined). Finally, the ZR1 is the most powerful, quickest, and fastest Corvette ever with 1,064 horsepower and a top speed of 346 km/h.
