Ford is launching yet another new Ranger variant: the Ranger XL+. The 11th variant of the Ranger, it upgrades and adds functional features to the base Ranger XL 4x4.
For just an additional P 10,000 from the Ranger XL, the Ranger XL+ adds features which owners had to previously install themselves such as a bed liner, step boards, and retractable cup holders.
The Ranger XL+ is available at P 1,279,000 and comes in Absolute Black, Arctic White, and Aluminum Metallic colors.
Like the Ranger XL, it gets a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine, a 4x4 drivetrain, and a 6-speed manual transmission.
Outside, it features a black grille and reflector headlamps with halogen beams, while inside, it has a 10-inch colored portrait touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
“We see that a number of our customers will go out of their way to have accessories like bed liners and side steps installed in their Ford Rangers,” noted Ryan Lorenzo, director, Retail Product Marketing & Business Growth, Ford Philippines. “This made us offer the Ranger XL+ which now comes equipped with both accessories, and more.
