Toyota Teases All-New 2026 RAV4

The countdown begins. Toyota will be revealing the all-new 2026 RAV4 before the end of May. Check out the first official photos.

To be completely honest, Toyota didn’t explicitly say, “RAV4” in its first set of teasers, but they did say that it’s all about “the next adventure.” Toyota showed the compact SUV in question using aerial shots going through a variety of terrain saying that it’s ready for “urban streets to outdoor retreats.”

Along with the aerial shots of the all-new RAV4, Toyota also included two interior photos showing the all-new RAV4’s interior. It’s all about squares and angles, dominated by a large all-digital gauge cluster as well as a tablet-like center screen. There also appears to be a windshield-projected heads-up display. The stalks, tiller, and even buttons all look chunky. The other photos shows a high set central tunnel with large cupholders and a toggle-style gear selector that’s also seen in the all-new Lexus ES.

Spy shots of the RAV4 show it to be a slightly larger vehicle with a more upright silhouette. It appears to sport cleaner lines and a flatter profile. It will carry Toyota’s new design language which include the C-shaped headlights.

Based on the photos, there looks to be at least two versions. The red one (with the black roof) seems to point to a possible GR Sport variant. With that in mind, hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains are a given and those will be upgraded, for sure. It’ll be surprising if Toyota will be able to offer a fully-electric version too.

Toyota will surely reveal more before the all-new RAV4’s full reveal slated on May 21.

    2. really? last time i checked we dont have rav4 prime. Heck, our rav4 looked like at least 5 years older than the one in north american reviews, especially the engine, interior and infotainment

    5. The North American RAV4 Limited looks the same as ours at least exteriorwise, although they do have the option of going to a 19 inch wheel.

I also don't know why you're complaining about the engine, it's the same A25-FXS found in their regular Hybrid models.

The only thing you can really complain about the local model is the lack of interior feature options like digital cluster, 10 inch infotainment + JBL (we only get the updated 8 inch), digital rearview mirror and ventilated seats. So in reality, our LTD is specced out more similary to an XLE premium (interiorwise) rather than the top trim limited.

    6. Akala ko 5th gen na yung hybrid engine ng rav4, or camry yun? Anyway, sana dumating yung bagong rav4 sa pinas na full specced hindi yung tinipid.

  2. Good to hear a new Rav4's finally coming out. We were contemplating on getting the new crv hybrid to replace our old crv diesel but will wait for this to hit our local market instead before deciding which one to get.
