Geely Reports Strong Q1 2025 Sales


Geely Auto achieved a strong revenue of RMB 72.5 billion (USD 10.06 billion), an increase of 25 percent year-on-year, in the first quarter of 2025. At the same time, they sold 704,000 units—a 48 percent year-on-year increase, completing 26 percent of its 2.71-million-unit annual sales target.

The Geely New Energy Vehicle (NEV) line-up had a single-quarter sales volume of nearly 260,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 214 percent. Standout performers include the Geely Xingyuan with 117,000 units sold from January to April. Meanwhile, the Geely EX5 and Geely Xingjian 7 EM-i each surpassed 10,000 units sold per month. With its sales surpassing 930,000 units already, they’re on track to become the fastest brand to reach one million NEV sales.

Geely Auto has enhanced its international market competitiveness by expanding to more key markets. All in all, the brand now has over 900 sales and service outlets in 86 countries. In the first quarter, the group’s cumulative export sales were 89,953 units, with exports in Asia-Pacific up 174 percent year-on-year. In Latin America, the figure is up 104 percent. They’ve launched 10 models in key markets with the EX5 alone, debuting in seven countries already. Plans are underway to offer the all-electric SUV to over 20 markets by the end of 2025.
