HARI Launches EV Commercial Vehicles, New Light-Duty Truck (w/ Brochure)

Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai Trucks and Buses in the Philippines, strengthens its commitment to innovation and sustainable progress with the launch of two full electric commercial vehicles and one new light-duty truck.

The two EV commercial vehicles now offered by HARI are the Hyundai Mighty Electric and the Hyundai County Electric.

The Hyundai Mighty Electric is a light-duty electric truck powered by a 163 horsepower (120 kW) permanent magnet synchronous motor and 320 Nm of torque. With a 114.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Mighty EV offers an all-electric range of around 260 kilometers. Charging is efficient and can be done via AC (6.6-kW) or DC charging (100-kW). The latter tops the Mighty Electric from 8 to 100 percent in just 71 minutes.

The Mighty Electric offers businesses multiple applications and dealerships can coordinate with HARI’s partner builder, HARI’s partner builder, Centro Manufacturing Corporation, to customize the Mighty Electric to their specific business requirements.

Meanwhile, the Hyundai County Electric redefines people movers with its 204 horsepower (150 kW), 395 Nm electric motor delivering 303 kilometers of range per charge. Equipped with a 128-kWh lithium-ion battery and rapid 72-minute charging time, the Hyundai County Electric signifies the future of transportation that is clean, quiet, and comfortable.

For businesses not yet ready to go full-electric, HARI also introduced the HARI Cab, a locally-assembled internal combustion engine tailor-made for the Filipino market.

Powered by a Euro 4-compliant D4CC diesel engine, the 2,891-cc displacement offers 160 horsepower and 392 Nm of torque. With a 100-liter fuel tank, HARI says it delivers best-in-class performance while also supporting local jobs and transport efficiency for both urban and rural areas.
